Last night of vacation got take out meals. Had to wait quite awhile for food to be ready, but when we got it it was delicious!

We went to Duck Creeke Tavern for a glass of wine and to hear some jazz. Sat at the bar and the lovely capable bartender was great. We love Wellfleet! but there really are just a few good places to eat if you want more than casual outdoor with plastic. A few new ones have opened in the last year or two. The Duck Creek Tavern used to be a favorite of ours, but now it seems they are turning the tavern into another fine dining restaurant. For the last two years my boyfriend and I have enjoyed dining at Sweet Seasons. The food is great as is the atmosphere, however, I just found out that they will be using the restaurant for functions and their menu will be joined with their upstairs informal Duck Creek Tavern.
