PJ's is the best place for fried clams (fried anything for that matter) in Wellfleet. My husband and I shared a big plate of whole belly clams. We asked for a salad, instead of fries (it is all about the fried clams anyway, isn't it?) and it was no problem. Dinner also came with a roll and a small cup... More

Definitely a low-key place but with really great food. I think here is where you'll find the best lobster roll in the area. Just lobster meat, a little mayo on a buttered, toasted New England roll. Inside atmosphere is just okay but they more than make up for it with the meal!

What you just have to love about this place is that you can get a great fish dinner and your kids can get "kid food" and everyone is happy. So much on the menu a phenominal: Burgers, southwest egg rolls, clam chowder, kale soup, lobster rolls, mussels Italiano, vanilla ice cream with butterscotch, any fresh fish dish, the fish &... More

We got a Seafood platter (fried clams, etc), Lobster roll, 1\2 rack ribs, and hot dog. $66 and change. Oh, 2 drinks in there too. Unless you have one of 2 tables in shade, prepare to be blinded and hot. Seafood platter was really good (how could it not be), ribs were just OK - not tender enough for me.... More

PJ's serves up standard fare, but you are a fool if you only order that. PJs swordfish sandwich is beyond compare, and they are known Cape-wide for their Lobster Rolls. But my favorite is the shrimp and corn chowder, along with their fried clam strips - we actually always order two of the huge size for our extended family of... More

The seafood was very fresh, there was a nice covered patio to eat outside on picnic tables if you don't want to go inside. There's a window to order your meal and they call your number- perfect for a casual meal.

Went to the cape to have clam chowder and lobster, and P.J.'s was among the best!! Convenient (on route 6) and easy in, easy out. Chowder was creamy and chocked full of stuff, lobster rolls were overfilled, fresh and sweet. A must visit!

My family and I were in Wellfleet this past week and had two meals at PJ's. Both meals were very good. We had a party of five both evenings and all in our group enjoyed their food. I do not live on the Cape but have been visiting family in Wellfleet since I was a child. The restaurant looks like... More

Thought I'd bring the family by to eat one night because it was easy--expecting mediocre fish shack fare with throwaway sides. Was served some of the best prepared broiled halibut ever tasted. The sauce was herbaceous and buttery, and the meat tender and juicy. Not overcooked! The broccoli that came as a side was crisp tender and fresh. So a... More

We drove up to PJs, ordered our meal ( fish and chips, Mac and cheese and a hotdog for the children). The food came fairly quickly and it was good. Other family members had fish taco, tuna on bun. Everyone was pleased with their meal except the kid who ordered the macaroni and cheese. Anyway she is a picky eater.... More
