Dear Globogeek, Thank you for your extensive review and extremely kind words. You hit the nail on the head when you said that our goal is "just good food and service and (be) a well-run restaurant". I REALLY appreciate your effort and am posting your review for our staff to see. Have a great weekend! Best, Todd More

We stopped there during our visit to cape cod in early August. Moby Dicks was recommended to us by some locals and we were not disappointed. It's BYOB and 1/2 self service. They provided ice for the beer and we grabbed our own condiments. The "dinning room" is picnic tables with checkered clothes with traditional "cape cod" decorations (ie, buoys... More

We've been going to Moby's for years. Really great seafood, always reliable, and super casual. Usually has a line, BYOB. You eat at picnic tables in a cross between a building and a porch. Very child friendly.

Stayed on the Cape for a week and had to have seafood during our stay. The seafood was very fresh. We had calamari, fish and chips, and clam chowder. The chowder was delicious with huge pieces of clam. The calamari and fish were very fresh but a bit greasy. I think it was about time to change the oil in... More

Thank you for visiting us and taking time to write your comments. I am sorry to hear that some of your fried food was a bit greasy. Perhaps whoever was frying did not shake out the basket as well as he should have. Just to let you know, this time of year (when we are very busy) we use new... More

We usually go to the Cape every year. Moby Dick's is Our favorite place to eat. The seafood is absolutely delicious! Easy, casual, delicious. It's BYOB...what a bonus! They give you ice bucket, cork screw and anything you need. The seafood is fabulous. Whether you get the lusious lobster clam bake or the seafood cabobs, and especially the lobster bisque!!!... With all the seafood places up and down the Cape, I'm sure we could have done better. The prices were very high for paper plates and counter ordering. I had a much better chowder on our whale watching cruise with "Dolphin Fleet" and the fish was a bit bland. My husband's lobster was rubbery and the portion size on the... More

tourist traps the Cape Code is filled with... We spotted the restaurant from the car on the way to Provincetown. What got our attention was the fact that the place was somewhat busy at early afternoon. There were a lot of cars parked on the lot. We decided to give it a try on the way back... Thank you for noticing us and for stopping by! Also, thank you for writing a review. If I may ask, which of our soups did you have - clam chowder, seafood gumbo, or lobster bisque? Why were you disappointed and what can we do to improve? If you would email me at: todd@mobydicksrestaurant.com I would really appreciate it. Thank you! More

Moby Dicks in Wellfleet, MA is our first stop on the Cape..we always go around 2pm....no lines, great seating on the porch. Food is fresh...the owners are on site cleaning, visiting, and mentoring the very friendly international staff. Our favorite place to eat. BYOB.

Thanks to those good reviews i guess, there was already long lineup out side the restaurant at 5pm. if you have two hungry kids in the car, best solution would be order take out. Very faster service, verything packed in. we had out dinner on the picnic table right the harbor 2 minutes drive from the restaurant.

While making our way back from P-town, we needed to find a place for lunch. We stopped at Moby Dicks because it was one of the first places we came across after deciding to stop to eat.
