Long lines. Service on paper plates. One tiny bathroom for a big restaurant. Hope the kids don't need to pee! Service ok. Food ordinary. People friendly. Not expensive. BYOB. I wouldn't go back.

Moby Dick's is on route 6 in Wellfleet. It's a huge restaurant and gift shop. It was a good time and everyone enjoyed their lunch. Would definitely eat there again.

I love summer time! I head over to woodman's in Essex to pick my own lobster or i'll drive to Ipswich to get fried clams that are to die for at the Clam Box. I know what is great, average and poor seafood when it comes to road side new England shacks. This place is up there with the best... More

This place is run like a well oiled machine, the owner is very hands on. You order at the counter an servers bring your food shortly after to your table. Food was okay, as we had fish tacos and my son had a burger. Good service, I would go back again.

We tried this place for something new, since we had been to the other big name on the cape several times. The staff was friendly and helpful, the owner came out and chatted and actually gave us a free basket of while belly clams which was both generous and delicious. So tender and sweet! We found the food fresh and... More

AT the risk of making the line out the door longer - we have to say that this restaurant is likely the best on the Cape. It combines fresh, deliciously prepared seafood with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The owners have created a brilliant system such that you get on line, get a menu, order once inside and then... More

We stopped there almost by chance. There was an accident in our way back from Cape Cod, so we stopped by this place to have dinner and kill some time. The place was full of local people, and they told us that is actually one of the best places in Cape Cod; most of them brought wine, since the place... More

Raul B, Thank you for your review. There are good oysters elsewhere but here in Wellfleet we think we have the best. You need to come back to the Cape and try them for yourself! Oh, and we are BYOB. We will provide a bucket of ice, cups, and a wine/beer opener. Hint: try to make it back here in... More

Moby Dick's is not fine dining, but the seafood is fresh and perfectly cooked. We shared a shrimp cocktail, which is not on the menu, and it was served with the shrimp still warm: fresh Gulf shrimp. The hard shell lobster was easily the best lobster I have ever had in 45 years of eating crustaceans. The Ella and Louie... More

Been coming to Moby's for years. The field seafood is lightly battered and not greasy. You can bring your own beer or wine. The place is clean and the ever present line to order moves swiftly. It's always our first stop on our way to our Truro vacation.

We were there multiple times during our stay in Wellfleet. We had the shrimps, calamari, salmon, Nantucket Bucket (mussels) and the lobster and everything was excellent. We only dined in once (rest was take out) but the service was quite good as well. I can only recommend this place!
