Best fried seafood on the cape

In my humble opinion, this has the best fried seafood on the cape. For lobster rolls, I give the edge to PJ's, but Moby Dick's wins for Fried Seafood platter. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you are going for dinner, best to get there early or be prepared to wait. I am clearly not... read more

We stopped at Moby Dick's for lunch, based on the reviews here. You wait outside in a line (short one today), order at the inside counter, and then find a table at one of the two inside dining areas. When the food is ready, then they bring it to your table, which only took about five minutes. I had the... More

Delicious Wellfleet Oysters, Clam Chowder, and broiled & fried seafood specialties. This BYOB "shack" is basic, but you get the freshest local fish. Worth the wait and a great value. Plus the staff is friendly and helpful

Pricey, but worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious. One of the owners cheerfully guided our two lobster-eaters through the process. Servers were delightful, decor is perfectly roadside Cape Cod. Would highly recommend!

Very casual, screened in seating, picnic bench dining. You order in the front of the restaurant and then you meal is brought to you. The staff were quite pleasant, everyone, and the food, delicious. The fried clams were one of the best I've ever eaten. You may bring your own wine of beer, which is such a bonus. I would... More

This place was very good as usual. The owners seem to take pride in what they are doing. Very well run business.

Straight up seafood, well done! We go back time and time again. It's BYO booze which is nice since nobody ever has my favorite craft brewed beers. Moby's is relaxed and friendly. I miss it already!

This restaurant on route 6 is fabulous! It is a first come, first serve place, but the line moves fast and they are well organized. They hire staff from all over the world, so it is fun to talk with these kids as you are waiting in line! You can bring your own liquor, the food is delicious.

This place is casual with good food. BYOB which is nice. Good lobster roll. Typical seafood fare but nice family spot. Recommend trying it.

On a week night, the parking lot was so full that some parked on the highway. An hour wait in line (they estimated 1-3/4!) which benefitted from regular handouts of watermelon slices. When you get to the front, everyone orders before being seated. Makes it easy to have separate checks, if that matters. Lobster Roll and fried fish are the... More
