Family owned and operated since 1983, Moby Dick’s is THE Cape Cod seafood restaurant for friends and families to meet, eat and just have a good time. Taking the New England clam shack to a new level, we will offer you and your family a great experience. We may not be full service, but we deliver great service. We aim to be the best. Kid-friendly is our middle name. We have a large Kid’s menu not to mention some fun coloring sheets as well. We welcome guests needing a gluten-free menu. We love large groups, small groups, any group. We would be delighted to host your special Cape Cod event. We are a BYOB establishment so grab your favorite beer or wine and head right over. We look forward to meeting you! Open at 11:30 am everyday for lunch and dinner from the first Friday in May to Columbus Day.

We pulled into the parking lot to find a completely full lot and a line outside the door. We almost left because the line was very long, but decided to stay. When we got in line we noticed everyone was drinking beer or wine. After standing in line a few minutes we realized that people had brought drinks from home... More

Absolutely the best clam chowder I've ever had. You place your order and can take it to go! It's so filling but I recommend a bowl if you can handle it!

If you drove by on the highway you would never give this place a second look. It looks like the biggest tourist trap on earth we were dying for lobster so off we went. The place is filled with the most pleasant efficient servers and hosts!!! They are bombarded with people from open to close and were more pleasant than... More

You enter, place your order & give your name then pay; you are shown to a table (if you want a different one they say "sure") Your food is delivered to your table in a very short time. Very relaxed atmosphere-no dress-up here. Come right from the seashore, a motel or right off the highway. The owner always comes by... More

We've been passing by this place on Rt 6 for the last 20+ years. Finally stopped in for lunch today and was it a treat! Agreed that the place isn't much to look at and their queuing system is a bit clunky - but it works. But the gem of this place is the quality of the food. So I... More

Even if the line outside looks long the wait for a table is worth it. You order and pay for your meal before getting seated. Great selection of seafood, salads and desserts. The fish kebab with rice was delicious ad the scallop salad very tasty. Bring your own beer or wine. Key lime pie was OK but this is not... More

Long lines. Service on paper plates. One tiny bathroom for a big restaurant. Hope the kids don't need to pee! Service ok. Food ordinary. People friendly. Not expensive. BYOB. I wouldn't go back.

Yayaof7, Just to clarify a couple of things: we have two bathrooms at Mobys and one next door at Moby's Cargo. We do serve on disposables (which is mandated in our business license) but they are the highest quality we can purchase. From your comments it is obvious that we are not what you are looking for. Perhaps the next... More

Moby Dick's is on route 6 in Wellfleet. It's a huge restaurant and gift shop. It was a good time and everyone enjoyed their lunch. Would definitely eat there again.

I love summer time! I head over to woodman's in Essex to pick my own lobster or i'll drive to Ipswich to get fried clams that are to die for at the Clam Box. I know what is great, average and poor seafood when it comes to road side new England shacks. This place is up there with the best... More

This place is run like a well oiled machine, the owner is very hands on. You order at the counter an servers bring your food shortly after to your table. Food was okay, as we had fish tacos and my son had a burger. Good service, I would go back again.
