It’s vacation time on Cape Cod! You and your family want to have lots of fun and eat some fresh seafood. Family owned and operated since 1983, Moby Dick’s is THE Cape Cod seafood restaurant for friends and families to meet, eat and just have a good time. Taking the New England clam shack to a new level, we will offer you and your family a great experience. We may not be full service, but we deliver great service. The freshest seafood, the best lobsters, Wellfleet littlenecks, Wellfleet oysters, Chatham Cod, fried clams and clam chowder are just a few of the local items we serve up daily. We aim to be the best. Kid-friendly is our middle name. We have a large Kid’s menu not to mention some fun coloring sheets as well. We welcome guests needing a gluten-free menu. We love large groups, small groups, any group. We would be delighted to host your special Cape Cod event. We are a BYOB establishment so grab your favorite beer or wine and head right over. We look forward to meeting you! Open at 11:30 am everyday for lunch and dinner from the first Friday in May to Columbus Day.

The absolute BEST seafood

My Wife and I travel to Cape Cod almost every year, and the only place that we ever eat at is Moby Dick's. The menu here is simple. They get the best quality seafood that there is, and they let it speak for itself. The atmosphere is as friendly and welcoming as the owners and staff. Moby's is a... read more

My only complaint was the wait. We drove by and saw the line outside the building and decided to turn around and go back. I'm so glad we did. Once we were seated the service was great, food came fast and was all delicious. Especially the "Chowda" Lively place, we were so impressed that for as busy as they were,... More

Despite the negative reviews, hubby & I had fabulous seafood here when we stayed in Wellfleet over the Labor Day weekend. After a day biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail, fried clams were on our minds and stomachs. We biked passed Arnold's in Eastham and hoped to drive over after we refreshed ourselves at the inn. Sadly, the take out... More

I've been here three times now. The first time was amazing, the second time was mediocre, and the third time will be my last. I picked up a lobster to go and it was too tough to cut, much less eat. Also, I told them that I needed them to cut it open for me since I didn't have tools... More

Lori, We are a seasonal restaurant and have been closed since Columbus Day (October 12th) so I am wondering if your comments are directed at the correct restaurant. If we are the restaurant you are referring to I am very sorry that your third experience was not a good one. If you had contacted us when it happened and let... More

This is a very popular place lots of locals eat here and recommend it to us. I'm not a big fan of seafood but tried the scallops and they were out of this world good!!! I also tried the chicken which is also very good. Not fancy but worth a visit for all around good food.

I usually go to Arnold's for seafood. I do think it's a little better there. But when you consider the $8 glass of wine or the $6 beer, you can save a whole lot of clams at Moby Dicks by bringing your own beer or wine. They even bring you an ice bucket. I think the atmosphere is much nicer... More

We never miss coming to Moby Dick's. There is a reason for the long lines (don't worry it wont take long. The simply have the best prepared lobsters at a fair price.

This was our dreamed-of retirement trip, and a steaming, butter-dripping, tender-to-the-tongue mouthful of lobster was definitely on the most-wanted list. At Moby Dick's we found a jolly welcome, great service, excellent main courses and sides, and a setting unique to the coast.

We visited in September, the line was out the door. We waited 30 minutes. It's an interesting place. B.y.o.b. (bring your own booze), and you stand in line at the counter to place your order, off a large black board. The staff is all girls that are hired from Britain ,that are flown over and housed for the summer. The... More
