Food is nothing special, but the site, perched up on the sand dune makes it special. We like to walk down to the beach to see the waves since our cottage is on the bay side.

We have been going to this place for years each labor day weekend. It's a cape institution, we get to the parking lot line by 9:30... no problems getting in. The beach below is fantastic and the schlep up and down the hill is just part of the experience. Unfortunately this time the kitchen was overwhelmed. They opened a larger... More

Sure, it is crowded, but it is a lively, party-atmosphere place overlooking a beautiful beach. This is a really fun place to hang out on a nice afternoon, have a few beers and eat some oysters. It is not fancy, it can be hard to get a table, but for a pre-dinner (or pre-nap before dinner) stop, I give it... More

Beachcomber is still a place to visit, no doubt- but be aware that you will need to add 20 dollars to your bill. No big deal if you are spending the day at the beach as well. But a complete scam nad rip off if you just want to get something to eat or drink. The parking around the restaurant... More

The one thing this restaurant does offer is a good raw bar. That being said, the day of our visit we the place was filled with people that were too drunk to walk, they were allowed to stumble down to the beach with drinks, and continued to be served. We had 3 older children with us and after waiting for... More

This is the quintessential casual beach place. Great for families or for couples. Very good burgers, teriyaki chicken sandwiches and more. Feels more like a local place than a tourist trap. Worth the 5 min extra drive off Rt. 6.

The upper cape is fantastic and the Beachcomber and Cahoon Hollow beach is a great way to end a summer beach day. Restaurant has a great atmosphere, noisy and lively, a wide selection and the food is good. The servers are great and work together to take care of customers. After eating you can take a stroll outside and head... More

If you found this helpful, please click that you did where it asks. ---------------------------------------------- Ok.. Here is the deal. If you dont live on the Cape you would NOT likely know these little facts about the way this operation runs. 1) the beachcomber is ALWAYS packed. They overlook a beautiful beach and people love to be able to drink, eat... More

If you like sitting next to the the Atlantic Ocean, eating lobster, oysters and clams you will loveThe Beachcomer. The menue is mixed with seafood for the adults and pizza for the kids. Service is very good, but you will wait to get a table on any normal evening. The wait is only 30 minutes...no problem. The views are exceptional:... More
