Nice lively dinner place.

This place is right next to the ocean. We got there a little late but customers can walk down a steep bank to the beach while waiting or just to look around. The restaurant is beach casual, with an indoor bar, and a deck bar that is open but protected from the weather. Wood floors, video games in... read more

You have to remain flexible at the Beachcomber. The wait for a table can be daunting - they quoted 90 minutes today - but there is a new alternative. A recently added canopy over a take out window is more than sufficient if you don't want to wait. We walked into the bar and ordered a couple dozen oysters and... More

The view is awesome. My family had a ball running up and down the dunes while waiting for a table. The food was actually pretty good but the place itself is pretty dirty. Not a bad place to have a shot and a beer but for the family (with kids), this place needs a shower.

Parking is $20. Whether you park a mile away and are shuttled in (no charge for the shuttle, which was a highlight for us!) or if you are lucky enough to park by the restaurant. The shuttle driver did a great job, music was loud and fun and the short ride got us into the beach mood!! The restaurant overlooks... More

This place offers great food, an outstanding raw bar and fabulous cocktails. It's the only bar on the beach in the outer cape. The only drawbacks are the parking and the waiting in line to get in.

My husband remembered the Beachcomber from his childhood, so when we got the opportunity to go to Ptown, this was on his "must do" list. We made the mistake of going on a beautiful sunny Saturday evening so when we got there, there was a line of cars waiting to be directed into the various parking areas (depending on the... More

This spot is right on the beach. We were seated inside immediately, while there was a 30 minute wait for outside tables at lunch time. Burgers were tasty and came with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and a nice side of fries. Service was very quick and attentive. If you park at White Crest look for the Funk Bus for a... More

Beachcomber is situated on the cliff overlooking the ocean. You can park nearby, spend the day at the beach, then hit the Beachcomber for cocktails and dinner while still in your bathing suit. World famous Beachcomber hats, clothes available along with fresh oysters, fried everything and beer. The oyster shots are leg-en-dary. If you're not in your bathing suit, you're... More

Again and again we return for the generous portions and the atmosphere of this busy beach side restaurant. Don't expect waterfront elegance for you won't find it there. Do expect resin tables and chairs, delicious food and drinks in plastic cups. I had the fried scallop plate: a generous portion of sea scallops lightly battered and fried to melt-in-your-mouth perfection,... More
