Amazing Spot...Must-visit for the Cape

Our family has been coming to Truro for 15 years, and after discovering PB through friends, we always make sure to stop by this special place when we're on the Cape. It's kind of crazy that this kind of spot can exist in such an isolated and seemingly random location of Wellfleet, and we were... read more

PB is one of the must-visit restaurants and bakeries in Cape Cod. Whether you visit for morning pastries or a sit-down dinner, PB is sure to impress. The staff is wonderful and cares for each guest. But above all the food is incredible. I can't rave about it enough!

Walking into the bakery makes me feel like I am in Paris! I came in for a croissant and left with a huge bag of goodies. This is a place where it is worth the price for excellent food. You get what you pay for. Bon appetite!

This was an amazing experience! It was my first time and my husband and our friends second time. They remembered them right when we walked in. The bar tender Aaron remember the wine our friend drank from last time they came which was a month ago. Absolutely amazing. The chef was very friendly saying hello and asking us how everything... I come from a bakery/patisserie loving family with access to great bakers in NYC and the Berkshires. This has to be one of the best. Memorable multi-grain, olive bread, almond and chocolate croissants, and much more. The place is small and crowded so best get there early because they will sell out of your favorites by mid-afternoon. There is an... More

P&B is great in the morning for croissants and coffee. There's almost always a line, but it moves fast. Dinner is intricate, elegant, and just plain scrumptious. You feel like you've taken a side trip to France! The staff all seem to speak to each other in French, the background music is French, and, of course, the food is French!... More

We were recently had the pleasure of stopping by PB while we were staying at Surfside Cottages in Wellfeet before we got on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The pastries were delicious and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend the watermelon juice with ginger and lemongrass--super refreshing! We will be back the next time we are in town!

Ok, yes the croissants and bread are fabulous. However, someone needs to adjust the attitude of the staff. They give the impression that we exist for them--not they exist for us.

What a gorgeous restaurant this is. The staff are lovely - the young French man is charming and funny and the two waitresses we spoke to were friendly and chatty (one originated from the UK). The food was superb - we had delicious bread and a complimentary tomato soup which had amazing flavour. I had the rack of lamb which... More

Solid stop for croissants, pain au chocolat, good breads, and interesting pastries. I suggest their PAb special of the day for take out. Unfortunately, the French have not learned about coffee from the Italians, so expectations should not be too high for coffee varieties. Check times, as was closed on Tuesdays when we were there.
