Nice stop in spot.

Located in the Holiday Inn just outside gate to Canyon de Chelly. Good food and service. This area is dry in terms of alcohol, but restaurant does have nonalcoholic beers and wines. So a good place for a cold one after a hike or jeep tour.

This restaurant, inside the Holiday Inn location, served an outstanding Navajo taco for our dinner after a long days drive. It was one of the best I've ever eaten. The next morning we ate breakfast and again, the food was great. Service was good and prices were good. Garcia's rounds out our stay and opinion that the Holiday Inn at... More

Sorry, but no don't call yourself a restaurant. I have eaten at Native American dining before on our trip and the food is not what we are used to, but we liked it when dining in Monument Valley. This place is run by the Native Americans, not Holiday Inn. They tried to have "American" dishes on their menu, but apparently... More

Besides the sporadic / lackadaisical service, the dinner was fine Driving and sightseeing all day didn't leave us much energy to try anywhere but our hotel Not many choices anyway We ended up having to seat ourselves even tho the sign says to wait We had to flag down a server even tho there were only a few other tables... The restaurant has limited hours and even then they aren't open all those hours. The staff when I had dinner was nice and gave me a suggestion to go see the sunset but otherwise I am not sure I would go there again, if they were open.

We had the Navajo Taco one night which is filling & the steak salad which was excellent the next night. One night they were understaffed so the appetizer came finally just minutes before the main entree. Otherwise good food & service

I happened to stay at the Holiday Inn and its so happens to have a full service restuarant. I didn't look very hard in Chinle but wanted something other than fast food options for my meals. The menu is very good and service efficient. If you want to dine at places other than fast food or super market delis. You... More

There is a menu with enough choices. Simple but good cuisine, the breakfast was good as well. The service was smiling and quick, in spite of the restaurant being full. The prices seemed average. My only complaint is the large size of the portions!

I've had Native fry bread in several parts of the country, and the fry bread here at Garcia's is the BEST I've ever tasted! The portions are large, the service is excellent, and the tables are clean and ready for feasting. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn in Chinle for a photo workshop with Alain and Natalie Briot (www.beautiful-landscape.com), and... More
