We were recently visiting the area and had heard very good things about this restaurant. We went for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. The crab cake was excellent (top 10 in my lifetime). The fritters (aka Zeppoles with powdered sugar) were an unusual, but fun and delicious surprise as a complimentary starter. We were also very impressed with our friendly... More

When I fist moved to Central Florida, everyone told me I had to go to this restaurant and boy, were they right! Excellent seafood, corn fritters to die for, generous portions and reasonable prices. Even came with a little dish of ice cream for dessert. The only probelm was getting in; there was always a waiting line, usually of a... More

This place is world famous for its Rock Shrimp. Don't mess up and order Pink Shrimp or Red Shrimp nor Fried Shrimp. Rock Shrimp broiled is all you need to know! Very reasonable priced too.

We had heard about this restaurant and it was on our list of places the try. We were not disappointed. The meal started with a small basket of corn fritters, topped with powdered sugar. They were delicious, plentiful and complimentary! When the basket was finished, the waitress asked if we wanted more. We had a coupon for Crab Bites, and... More

Revisit to Dixie Cross roads. I used to eat at this restaurant every weekend when I lived there. The food was good, but not great (like I remember it). Good service. Give this restaurant a try if you are in the area.

If you are looking for "Grilled Swordfish with Mango Salsa" this is NOT your place. If you are looking for home style, southern fried shrimp -- this IS the place to go!! Every now and then I get a taste for "greasy fried seafood." Too much will kill you, but every now and again, you just get a craving for... More

We always stop at Dixie Crossroads on our way to our Florida vacation locale. In fact, we travel out of our way to get there. And it never disappoints. All 9 of us can sit in the same booth. Kids meals are reasonably priced. They serve up piping hot corn puppies liberally sprinkled with powdered sugar that are to die... More

Visiting family in Titusville, we had dinner at Dixie Crossroads and thought it was delicious. I tried very hard not to eat so many of the powdered sugar hush puppies which taste like funnel cake but with corn inside. But they are hard to resist, which means I hardly ate any of my shrimp and grits, even though combined with... More

If you are a Local or traveling through on I-95 in Central Florida, Dixie Crossroads is a local institution and is a must. Rock Shrimp and Royal Reds are the speciality. If you have never had rock shrimp, you are in for a treat because they taste a lot like lobster. Personally, the Florida rock shrimp is sweeter than the... More
