My wifeare snowbirds from the UK with a house in Orlando and we often visit the space coast with visiting friends after going to Kennedy Space Center or Merritt Island Nature Reserve. We usually eat at Dixie Crossroads where the ambience is great, the service is good and the food is excellent. Our particular favourite is the broiled large tail-on... More

We plan our trip to Florida around the time that Royal Reds are being harvested. Excellent food for excellent price. Service has always been great.

We enjoyed the down home family atmosphere at Dixies. We really liked the fritters and the rockfish shrimp. The prices were good for the portion size and price. Casual dining place after a day at the beach.

I read about this restaurant on cruise critic and it was really great. We were s party of 8 on town ore cruise. Fish Taco was yummy! Shrimp was tender and fresh. Prices were very fair. Next cruise we will stop at Dixie Crossroads again.

Friends suggested Dixie Crossroads when they learned we would be in that area. I am so glad they did. My husband and I split a lobster & seafood dinner and it was more than enough food. The whole lobster was awesome, especially for $40.00. But add in the rock shrimp, regular shrimp and scallops, and it was a feast! Had... More

Great to hear that you enjoyed your seafood dinners and tried some of our local caught shrimp. Ocean caught seafood (not pond raised) truly makes a difference in the taste:) We hope to see you again when you are back this way. More

This is our first visit and definitely not our last!! We had a short wait to be seated which was fine. Our server brought us our menus and took our drink orders. She returned with our drinks and the fabulous corn fritters!! It did take us some time to decide on what we wanted for dinner however when we did... More

We have eaten here since the eighties and have never been disappointed. Great fresh seafood, fast and friendly service and the ONLY place for rock shrimp. I like the new soup de jour idea, Cajun shrimp soup is yummy! The only place outside of St Johns county that has a good Datil pepper sauce

So glad to hear that you like how we are making our soups and changing them out often. We think we have some great recipes! And of course the Datil Pepper sauce is as good as St. John's County - we have it made for us up there:) More

If you like shrimp, then this is the best place to go in Northern Brevard County, Florida. Rock shrimp is my favorite. When you arrive, the wait staff are quick to serve you your drinks, salad, your meal and a free basket of donut hole size corn fritters. Most food orders arrive within 10 minutes. Dixie Crossroads has a variety... More

Family oriented seafood fare; light on the fish, heavy on the shellfish. Must have the Rock Shrimp and ask about their story or why you don't see them in many other places. Good Value for money...don't hold back but go big!

Even though Dixie Crossroads is a favorite of out-of-towners, we make a point of going about once a month. The rock shrimp (I like them broiled) are always excellent, and their other seafood is super fresh as well. Our server, Katy, was very attentive and overall it was just the usual excellent dining experience. This local loves Dixie Crossroads!
