With family in Orlando up from Panama, Central America, we decided to take a break from the theme parks on Saturday 9/27. We have been to Dixie Crossroads many times and never been disappointed.. This visit was no different service was fast and efficient, the broiled Rock Shrimp were delicious and enjoyed by all. Thanks to Dixie Crossroads for another... More

Have frequented Dixie Crossroads a dozen times or so over the past 25 years. Over the past several years I have been disappointed in both the quality and presentation of the food. The food is overpriced for the setting, quality and the way the food is presented...kind of slapped on the plate and served. During our most recent and probably... More

I was very impressed with Dixie Crossroads - service was excellent and the food was top notch. I had the fried shrimp and it was done to perfection. I would highly recommend but get there early. They fill up fast.

This is not a typical seafood joint serving fried cod on a "fisherman's platter." The rock shrimp were great. The scallops were tasty. Quite honestly, I could've been happy with just the corn fritters! I knew it was going to be great when the catch of the day was announced as "Red Grouper," not just grouper. That's pretty rare at... I've eaten here several times and we've only had one bad experience which I'm chalking up to the waitress and not the restaurant overall. The food is always fresh and high quality. You can get your entrees prepared multiple ways including blackened and broiled so don't have to have everything fried. The atmosphere is dim which is good for a... More

My husband had fond memories of amazing rock shrimp from Dixie Crossroads. Although the food was good, I was underwhelmed by the rock shrimp that we ordered - it was good, but nothing to write home about. The service was average as well. For the price, I'm not sure it is worth the hype.

Food was okay, the service was okay, but the prices were a bit high for the portion I received, I won't be back.

I know the proprietor personally, and it pains me a little bit, but the Dixie Crossroads is not what it used to be. It was THE place to go for rock shrimp. While the rest of their menu was adequate, and the "corn puppies" to die for, the rock shrimp was always the best seller. Over the last few years,... More
