Much ado about nothing

Heard such great reviews from people had to try it out. Turns out afterwards they hadn't been their in years. Food was OK, nothing special, service so-so. It was Sunday brunch time, but not that busy. Prices were way too high for what you got. No a bad place, but not worth the price you pay.

We wrote a review 2 years ago lauding this place. Here we are back again with more praise. Rock shrimp broiled perfectly and huge and tasty fried oysters. Nice choices of sides. Friendly staff (Chelsea was great). We'll keep comin' back!

Expect a wait when you visit this place, but it is well worth it. While you wait, enjoy feeding the fish and sipping a cocktail in the outdoor waiting area. This place is super casual and super delicious. If you love rock shrimp or have never tried them, then you have to dine here. The cheese grits are also yummy!... More

Hand down best shrimp that we have ever had. We got the steamed rock shrimp and the steamed royal red shrimp that were on special. Both were delicious but the rock shrimp were our favorite. No butter or seasonings needed, amazing on their own. The corn fritters that they bring out before the meal are delicious too!

We had eight people for dinner without a reservation (they don't accept reservations). We were seated in less than ten minutes. The service was fast, the food was good and the crowds were as loud as could be. You can't carry on a conversation to save your life. We had a nice time anyway.

The rock Shrimp are really good. Have had the crab legs too. Grandkids love the hush puppy's. Overall a good place to eat.

Whenever we visit the Kennedy Space Center / Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge area, we stop by at this restaurant. They serve the local "rock shrimp" which is very different from regular shrimps. Rock shrimps have very tasty meat and hard shells similar to lobsters, and this is one of the few places that serve them, to our knowledge. If... More

This place is huge, so do not expect anything fancy. The rock shrimps were incredibly tasty but everything else such as small shrimps and sides were barely average. Would go back, but only for the rock shrimps.
