Dixie Crossroads has been serving great tasting seafood, char-grilled steaks, prime rib, chicken, fresh salads and their famous corn fritters since 1983. The menu features the very best local shrimp and fish from Port Canaveral and ranges from low cost sandwiches and baskets to high end seafood combos. Themed rooms and an air conditioned gazebo with a bar can accommodate groups of all sizes. Kids (and adults) enjoy feeding the fish and turtles in the outside pond.

Good Southern Seafood

This is a great place if you want a simple, sit down, seafood restaurant. The food was really good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was well above par. Serving sizes are generous and there are free, unlimited (as far as I could tell) corn fritters.

Excellent seafood and great atmosphere. My kids loved the outdoor ponds full of turtles and fish. I ordered a platter of grilled rock shrimp (what a treat - like little lobster tails) and fried oysters. The oysters were plump and perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was my favorite of all the places we dined in the area.

I had been recommended Dixie Crossroads by friends, and it lived up to everything they said! Their menu was vast with a large variety of different offerings. We were served corn fritters with powdered sugar upon being seated, and they were great! We ordered snow crab, coconut shrimp and a fish platter with mahi mahi, scallops and rock shrimp. We... More

We stopped in last week to try New entree called"rock shrimp burger". It was delish. I wish they would also have its twin,"lobster roll". My wife had her favorite shrimp Alfredo, which is second to none.

When Dixie Crossroads opened it was a wonderful seafood restaurant. Furthermore they devised a method for cooking and serving rock shrimp - formerly considered trash fish. So they soon became popular among locals and visitors. Over the years Dixie Crossroads became a tourist destination. Quality decreased; price increased. I would no longer recommed this as a source of great, or... More

We had heard great things about this restaurant, so decided to try it ourselves. We were not disappointed. Good food, good service, good prices, unique décor - overall a really good experience. We tried the rock shrimp and the red shrimp, and both were excellent. The soup of the day was a Cajun shrimp soup which we really enjoyed -... More

We went to Playa Lynda beach for a tanning session but however after going through the whole park system, we soon had to turn back back and decided to get lunch. This is my 2nd time to Dixie Xroads and was amazing! I got 1 1/2lb snow crab with huge legs, and the wife got 1 1/2lb rock shrimp. Both... More

We only experienced a brief wait by going early, and not on the weekend; our waitress was wonderful to go out of her way to explain and answer any questions we had Everything was delicious...fried shrimp and the rock shrimp, the crab cakes, and the corn fritters. Nothing was turned down, or away by any of our party! Cannot wait... More

This is our third visit here and we just love this place. The food is great and there's plenty of it. First visit had Maine lobster, second, the Shrimp and Grits which is not that easy to find in a restaurant and this third time, I had the crab cake. Their house salad has bacon and hardboiled eggs on it!... More

I use to look forward to going here, but the food is not what it use to be and it is over priced. The service is good and the restaurant is nice.
