Perfect location in Little Italy

A very pleasant place for lunch and quiet enough to have a conversation. The Mediterranean Salad with Salmon was just right balance of light and filling. We were seated immediately and served quickly, but not too quickly, allowing time to enjoy the atmosphere.

After having enjoyed a nice luncheon with salads and pizza, we returned a few months later for dinner. A decision which we regretted as the plates we had (gnocchi, pasta and mussels) were boring and prepared without any love. The cook must have had a bad day as the homemade pasta was without a hint of flavor, the mussels lacked... More

We walked to Little Italy from our hotel, which told us to go to a different restaurant. We chose this one. We sat outdoors by a waterfall in a courtyard. We started with clams for an appitizer. I had veil, my husband had fettuccini. It was great food, great service. My husband had a glass of Italian wine. I don't... More

Very nice hot rolls with garlic butter served quickly, with water and our wine. Had a long wait for our food, so difficult not to drink all the wine! Guitar player was a nice touch, but noise level from other tables was high. Food was OK to good, especially chicken dishes.

Arrived fairly late evening in "Little Italy" and this was still open. Ordered from suggested menu for rapidity- was okay but not exceptional. Wednesday has bottled wine half price which is cheaper than a couple of glasses... Lots of waiters but lacked co-ordination. Friendly but you may find yourself waiting.

My husband and I were visiting San Diego we want it to go to little Italy because it was close to the hotel and we were starving, we found this restaurant and the food was ok but I have been in better Italian restaurants, the service could be better as well, the only dish I can recommend is the Pasta... It is my first time visiting San Diego with my parents and brother. We arrived at noon time and after checking into the hotel, we walked around the downtown area, searching for food. Thanks to Trip Advisor city guide, was able to identify this Italian bistro given we have no idea which restaurant is good. We ordered a pasta with... More

We went for lunch and had one of the poorest service ever. The hostess told us they were understaffed, but not that we had to wait almost 2 hours for a pasta al pomodoro. At the end we decided to leave the place before being served the main course. At least they acknowledged the issue and took care of the... More

The pizza was burnt and the Cesar salad was awful. The only good thing I can say is the waitress was great. I don't think I'd ever go back.
