What a treat. Went to Zia's for AMAZING creative pizza. The owner chatted with us, so kind! We went to Lestat's after to coffee (just down the block). Great place for date night!

We were a group of business friends out for dinner, first in a group of three and the next night in a group of six. We loved the whole experience both times. The food was delicious. We had the same waiter both times, and she was terrific, too. We all admired Kelsey's beauty and efficiency, but we especially liked her... More

Yummy! Delicate and flavorful chicken Picatta and what you expect in a pasta Bolognese . I'll be back.

We had veal with marsala and even though we did not expect a scalope it did taste very good. We really appreciated having some bread, which you rarely get in an American restaurant!

When the Front Desk Clerk at the Wyndham told us about Little Italy we got excited because we did not know it was there. Everything is the Seaport Village which we always enjoyed or the Gaslamp District. But Zia's Bistro was just the perfect spot to celebrate our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. From the time you are greeted outside to the... More

Wow, little Italy neighborhood in San Diego has really uped the ante. India street gives you the exact feeling of wondering a strata in Rome and Zia's is exactly like a Roman restaurant. Comfortably casual with laid back wait staff who do not rush you to order or leave. Wednesday nights is 1/2 off wine bottles so we got lucky... More

We stopped into this great Italian restaurant for lunch during our overnight stay in Little Italy. I ordered the Caprese Appetizer and a chicken salad and both were delicious, fresh and tasty. We sat outside as it was a warm day in San Diego and that was a real treat.

I had the chicken piccata, which is usually my favorite dish, however, this was very bland. Hardly any lemon and maybe 4 capers! It was mostly olive oil. My son and best friend had the pasta with fresh tomato sauce and they loved the flavor of the sauce. Prices were reasonable.

Great restaurant. Very good food for a very good price - especially compared to neighbouring restaurants. The venue is really nice and spacious and the staff were quick and pleasant.
