Arrived fairly late evening in "Little Italy" and this was still open. Ordered from suggested menu for rapidity- was okay but not exceptional. Wednesday has bottled wine half price which is cheaper than a couple of glasses... Lots of waiters but lacked co-ordination. Friendly but you may find yourself waiting.

My husband and I were visiting San Diego we want it to go to little Italy because it was close to the hotel and we were starving, we found this restaurant and the food was ok but I have been in better Italian restaurants, the service could be better as well, the only dish I can recommend is the Pasta... It is my first time visiting San Diego with my parents and brother. We arrived at noon time and after checking into the hotel, we walked around the downtown area, searching for food. Thanks to Trip Advisor city guide, was able to identify this Italian bistro given we have no idea which restaurant is good. We ordered a pasta with... More

We went for lunch and had one of the poorest service ever. The hostess told us they were understaffed, but not that we had to wait almost 2 hours for a pasta al pomodoro. At the end we decided to leave the place before being served the main course. At least they acknowledged the issue and took care of the... More

The pizza was burnt and the Cesar salad was awful. The only good thing I can say is the waitress was great. I don't think I'd ever go back.

I think everyone that workes at Zia's bistro is Italian, or certainly can pass for Italian. Super friendly and delicious food priced right. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. This was our fourth meal of the day and we still loved every bite.

Ordered the spinach ravioli with wine and cannoli for dessert. Bartender/waiter was very attentive and made good recommendations.

We had 3 drinks, dessert, 2 salads and shared a main course. It was around $70 with tax. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed our entire evening. There was live music toward the end of our meal. There was one skanky looking drunk female couple sitting outside. They made them smoke outside the seating area but I'm glad I sat... More
