Scoped out this place after finding it on Yelp. Was visiting San Diego with some friends after a hiatus of 7 years. This was a very good place to chow down on some good hearty breakfast before heading to the nearby Ocean Beach and Point Loma. If you're looking for "frou frou" breakfast, skip this place. I go here with Dan or Sylvia and David when they are in town. I used to live in OB and this is the perfect "greasy spoon" breakfast place. I love it when they call me honey. more

This place is so good that sometimes I drive all the way from the Escondido area just to get breakfast here. The bisquits and gravy are to die for and ive heard that the avocado and cheese omelet is good too. They have good service and great food. You havent lived till you have gone here.
