The steaks were good and so was the shrimp cocktail. Good value for the money. Service was quick and efficient
Palatable but nothing special. Example: filet mignon on a big plate with only 4 asparagus spears laying there naked on the plate. No concern for making a plate look appetizing. Nice staff. Cute setting.
First off, this was a business trip in the Hotel Circle area of San Diego. With that said, the Trellises was a good restaurant for the area. The hotel is dated, but the restaurant (I think there are 3 on the property) overlooked the pool and service was pleasant and quick. Probably the best meal we had in the area... More
In my opinion, I would recommend that you dine elsewhere. San Diego has so many good places to dine, why eat at a place that is mediocre. I had a dinner here that was paid for by my employer. It was a dinner for about 75 people from a pre-set menu. I reminded me of basic drab wedding reception food.... More
The claim to be high end, nothing high end, just a place in a hotel with high prices and poor quality food. Spend your money on a cab and get a better dinner.
Pleasant service. Good cocktails and great seafood. There was a choice of indoor or outdoor dining I ate outdoors on a patio off the restaurant in the afternoon sun. I ate there a few times I liked it so much.
It should be rated with $$$ in the reviews. I wasn't expecting this to be upscale when we went there. The food was very good but overpriced for what we ordered.
We had a wonderful lunch on the patio of Trellises Garden Grille. The salad was crisp and fresh and the meals of all my colleagues were enjoyed. There is a great menu and terrific service from friendly wait staff. Looking forward to go back when I visit Town and Country again in September.
We had breakfast here two mornings while we stayed at this aging and dated resort, and truly enjoyed our meal, the gardens, but most of all Angelica, our server, who we will always remember. She is someone who not only enjoys her job, but brings joy to others.
Inedible, expensive food and horrible service. We went there for Father's Day and had dry, overcooked, tasteless filet mignon and freezer-burnt halibut. The waiter brought our food and never came back.
