Quaint little "hole in the wall". I had a pastrami on sourdough, wife had a roast beef on sourdough. Drinks and a bag of chips. 2 deviled eggs, and a tuna pepper. $23. Nice little quiet table outside over looking a harbor. Its a ma and pa shop that makes you feel good to support. Nothing extraordinary, but you wont... More

I wouldn't have known this was a deli if I hadn't found it on a review site. The local people who work on the boats seem to use it. Not a great deal of choice but the bacon on an English muffin was nice. We sat on a little terrace overlooking the Marina.

I was on Shelter Island for the weekend. I didn't expect the deli to be open on a sunday so I was pleasantly surprised. What a hard-working couple. Ad always the sandwiches were huge & yummy. Grab your picnic lunch here & head for Shelter Island Beach!

I'm not a sandwich person. I'm Asian so I still generally go for noodles and rice for my carb requirements :) but this deli changed they way I look at sandwiches! I read some good reviews about this place prior to our trip and decided to get some sandwiches here for our visit to the zoo and the Safari Park.... More

I picked up a friend from the airport at midday and she was hungry after her flight from the east coast, so we were going to stop at another deli that I had been to before, grab a sandwich, and have a picnic lunch on Shelter Island, but the other deli had gone out of business. I stumbled across Pearson... More

Ask the staff at Pearson's to make you a vegan sandwich and you're in for a treat! This toasted feast of creamy avocado, lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, onion, and pickles is lightly seasoned and topped with a sprinkle of oil and vinegar. Grab some sandwiches and head for the island, this little tucked away treasure is a great place for your... More

Pearson Deli on Shelter Island is by far the best deli I have been to. It's just a little take-out deli on the way into the island and is in the A-frame building. They make awesome sandwiches and you won't be disappointed. They are a little pricey but the sandwiches are big and they used quality ingredients. My boyfriend and... More

I searched for Pearson's after reading reviews and I was not disappointed. It is a tiny family run place with very little room. I ordered a BLT with avacado & Turkey. The owner made it up herself & was very charming. It was a huge sandwich! I enjoyed it for two lunches. On my next visit I could probably order... More

What a wonderful place!! If you're looking for "posh", don't bother. If you're looking for fabulous value for money and a stunning view of the marina full of the most magnificent vessels, I strongly recommend this place. Breakfast for me consisted of an egg and bacon crumpet (eggs done how you want) for $3.25. Lunch consisted of one (and I... More

The Channel 70 Productions crew has eaten here about a zillion times. Good food and great boat watching. The parking is terrible, but it's worth it to go hunt a space and walk.
