Great food, awful noise

Rarely have I enjoyed such an excellent meal and at the same time been so glad to leave a restaurant. We walked over here from our motel next door and we might have gone back a second time had the atmosphere been more amenable. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered smoked salmon nigiri to start with. It came right out and looked as great as it tasted! We ordered the Cajun roll and a baked whitefish roll as our entrées and those were both fantastic. The service and food exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this place! Maybe skip the green tea tiramisu... More

I love sushi and been to many restaurants and this is by far the best sushi place and affordable too, is not the cheapest but is not the most expensive either. Every single time I'm there I get there sashimi salad, one of the best dishes I ever eat.

Excellent food and atmosphere, and the service was exceptional. My son took us here and our three grandkids for an early dinner. Will definitely go back.

The sushi dinner and seaweed salad are both tasty but this place is way too noisy. Price is reasonable and service is good.

Well, for my first time eating here, I will never return. I had the beef yokisoba noodles and I got sick. for a full 24 hrs I was going to the bathroom, with a aching stomach and nausea. I go back to speak to someone and they tell me to bring a note from the doctor. Nothing to try and... More

We've always loved the sushi here but find it harder and harder to take the volume of the music. Are they trying or be a nightclub or a restaurant where friends can enjoy great food and conversation. I'd come once a week if it was more serene. Maybe crank it up after 7pm? Please

This is possibly one of the best places for Japanese food in San Diego. The prices are reasonable and the food is simply amazing. Their music selection caters to the younger crowd, for some reason. I loved the caterpillar roll, and the panko oysters. The panko oysters come as part of a set meal, can't remember if you can order... More

This is one of my favorite sushi spots in the world. The tuna tartar is the best I've ever had...ever! It is located in College Area, very close to SDSU, so beware of the rowdy-ish atmosphere. The music is loud and its dimly lit.

The food here is great, the presentation is super cool, someone is constantly checking on you and they have great music but it does get a little loud at about 8 or 9pm. If don't like loud music, then this place is not for you. Once again, THE FOOD IS GREAT!!!
