It is another Irish Bar, but with a loyal following of regulars. We were there the day before Halloween and the San Diego Gas Lamp District was electric with costumed folks prowling the streets. We took refuge in Patrick's and were treated to Chicago Blues music and reasonable drinks prices. We listened and then danced in the space between the... More

We tried this place from good reviews. It was evening and the band was set up on stage but hardly anyone in pub so obviously don't visit until late!! Atmosphere boring and we ended up leaving our drinks so obviously jazz music does not start till very late. Ladies toilets disgusting ... No lock and only one toilet and flush... More

We were doing touristy stuff in San Diego during the day. (You know, the Zoo and Sea World etc) and, as tourists, naturally gravitated towards the Gas Lamp quarter for meals every night. The band was great, very engaged and their set lasted 2,5 hours ..... Full out , with the whole place dncing , clpping and rocking in their... More

We just discovered this great little bar through friends, on our latest trip to SD, very friendly guy behind the bar, really good atmosphere and they have live music every night! Reasonably priced drinks too!

Okay, so it might look like something out of Cheers, or a place you would stumble across for last orders. But let me tell you, Patricks is outstanding. We visited on a Sunday night and enjoyed live music from a band called t&t. They were incredible. The singer had the voice and cha of any major rock star and wowed... More

Small hole in the wall type bar. We had fresh Guinness and Magner's cider and made some new friends.
