Warm and friendly and wonderful authentic food

Troys is a frequent stop of ours, we love the atmosphere and the authentic food. We go to Troys about 3 times a month and there food is yummy. I love the lemon chicken soup they make from scratch along with all the Greek favorites. They also serve American cuisine that is also delicious. They have... read more

I was a first time visit and was impressed. They have a wide choice or traditional Greek dishes. I chose one of the dinner specials--cabbage rolls, which was very good. I also had the Avgolemono, the lemon-egg, chicken soup which is an iconic Greek dish. It was excellent. The dishes are reasonably priced and the ambience with linen napkins is... More

This restaurant was recommended to us for breakfast, so we thought we would give it a try for the New Year. We arrived and seated immediately and our waitress was prompt to take our drink order. Inquired to see if they had a Saturday Brunch, but it is only on Sunday's. Otherwise, champagne is $2.95 a glass. It took a... More

I have often heard of Troy's in Grantville a section of San Diego Ca. where Friars and Mission Gorge meet, and across from Kaiser Hospital. I was down in the area in Dec 2015 and decided to look for Troy's to grab a fast bite to eat before heading home, I was thinking this was a fast food restaurant. It... More

I grew up in Allied Gardens and have been eating at Troy's for over 25 years, They are the best. The service has always been A+ considering the volume they serve. The plates are huge. The Greek salad served with most plates is ample for 1 person, then you still have the main course. Being vegetarian the falafel plate is... More

One of my friends recommended this place so I went there with 10 other friends. I can't thank my friend enough. Troy's is tucked into a strip mall and isn't that easy to find. I only gave a 4 rating because the parking stinks. The food, the service and the ambiance, on the other hand, are outstanding. Portions are generous... More

Troy's was a really nice surprise. The service was of a far higher class than we expected. The prices were very favorable - most meals at around $8-9. There were Greek, Mexican, and American dishes to choose from, and the food was excellent. Everything came to the table hot and tasty. There were fresh roses on every table, not the... More

I love their Dinner Greek Salad that comes with most Entrees. I enjoy the Gyros Platter, served with a generous portion of Gyros Meat, Pita Bread, Rice Pilaf and Glazed Carrots, along with choice of Soup or Salad. I have tried the Gyros Salad, the Chicken Sandwhich and always good food with Great taste. They have a show, but I... More

The food is always good, and on the weekends they have a belly dancer come in. She's great, but the music is a little loud

This is a go-to place for us. You can always count on good service, good food and relaxing ambiance. They serve a nice variety of food and that can satisfy almost any palate. The clientele are generally older. The lunch crowd has a good representation of employees from the local Kaiser facility. Check out their website to see their menu.
