Getting off the plane from Seattle left me a bit hungry. Still unsatiated from all the seafood I had up in the great northwest, I elected to stop by Blue Water Seafood Market for a quick bite to eat.. I've been wanting to try this place out for quite some time and it did not disappoint. Had grilled Wahoo and... More

We stopped in for a late lunch, hunting for the best fish tacos while visiting San Diego. It was a great experience. I understand that the line can get pretty long, but it wasn't bad at 1:30pm on a Thursday. Ordering is done at the counter, and they bring meals out to your table. We had Shrimp Ceviche with house... there WILL be a line - even if you get there 20 minutes before closing as I did on my last visit - but it is STILL worth it ... SWORD FISH TACO with 4 oz of perfectly cook high end swordfish and all the trimmings for 4.75 .. what's more to say ... perfect ... and beer on tap... More

Housed in the old boat house for the El Conquistor Hotel made for a most pleasant setting overlooking the bay. Fresh fish selections and other seafood selections made for a nice dining experience.

This was the first thing we did in San Diego. We are Midwesterners desperately wanted good seafood ASAP. Got out of the airport and went directly here for lunch. The reviews were too good to pass up. The first thing we noticed at noon on a Saturday was the line. It took us about 25 minutes in line until they... More

This place has terrific seafood. I don't particularly like the long stand in line thing you need to do to order but once you get your food, it's well prepared and quite excellent. Great lunch place but I wouldn't do the line for dinner.

It was a Friday night and we had a long wait to give our order at the counter and a long wait for the food to reach our table. Mussels, ahi tuna and salmon were all fresh. It's nothing fancy inside, but a very popular local place.

Seafood was obviously fresh, however, the restaurant wasn't what we expected. You stand in line to order, and we arrived on a Friday night, problem one. We spent a long time circling the place just trying to find a parking place! After finally finding a parking place(be aggressive) we waited in line to place our order. We were amused by... More

Blue Water is turning out some nice looking dishes, judging from went past me while waiting in line to order. I ordered the Hawaiian Albacore with a light butter lemon sauce. The Albacore was ever so slightly dry, but that's the way it's supposed to be and I enjoyed it very much. It was served over salad and a pile... More

This is the number one place I suggested my friends go after arriving in San Diego. It's very close to the airport, the atmosphere is unpretentious and the food is really good. When you enter, you wait in line to order. This gave us plenty of time to check out the fresh fish in the display case and make our... More
