Tasty fresh seafood

Super fresh fish prepared a multitude of ways at great prices. Try your fish "bronzed" and definitely get the poke appetizer! They usually have a couple of great Ballast Point brews on tap as well.

Our Enterprise car rental agent recommended this place and we're glad we went! We both had fried soft shell crab sandwiches (one of us had the bigger portion of crab on a bun, the other the smaller portion on tacos) and onion rings. Everything was delicious! Crab was cooked perfectly - nice and crispy and flavourful. Onion rings likewise. You... More

They have quite a selection of fish to chose from and several seasoning choices. The portions are big so order 1 less taco than you think and get the appetizer. Everything we had was great except for the fish and chips. They use Tilapia and that was just not my favorite.

I couldn't call this one of the best meals because its such a casual place, but on a ten day trip, it stood out as one of the two best! The line to the door was intimidating, but the cute waitresses were working fast to seat and deliver to everyone! Standing in line gave us time to peruse the menu,... More

This quaint Little Establishment like so many others in San Diego was featured on Diners Drine-Ins and Dives. The Seafood is fresh and well prepared. Perfect for the afternoon with my favorite Lady. The only negative is possible wait but well worth it. Awesome!

Each time I travel to San Diego I visit Blue Water Seafood Market and Grill. Be early as you will wait in line in a super casual atmosphere. Get a beer or glass of wine while you wait. Everything is just awesome!!

Best fish tacos I ever had. I ordered a couple of oysters as an appetizer - very fresh and tasty. I also ordered a Wahoo (Ono) taco with teriyaki marinade and an amber ale fried lobster taco. Both were exceptional, but the lobster taco was amazing. I highly recommend them. We got there about 6 PM and the line was... More

I was on the hunt for a great fish taco, something fresh and not too far from my hotel. Hubs and I came after 8 pm on a Monday night and the place had plenty of seating with no line. Hubs and I tried a selection of fish tacos including ahi, halibut, and mahi mahi. We added avocado to each... More

Great New England clam chowder! Surroundings are simple, food is served in containers, parking is challenging. But.... It is worth it! Try some chowder and a fish taco! Amazing! Parking hint: park on India Street south of the Blue Water, near the Giant Photo place, walk past the Ducati dealer.

We ate here on the weekend for an early dinner, which was good because this place can get really busy - and it's not a big place. Casual dinner - order at the counter, find your seat and they bring your food to you. We ordered sushi (very good), fish and chips (Mike liked, I didn't like the coating they... More
