Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill is located right off the 5 on India St. near downtown San Diego. The food served here is what inspired us to start our Good Eats adventure. Walk into The Blue Water Grill and make your way to the seafood market section where you can order delicious fish and seafood to take home or... More

The Blue Water Market and Grill has some of the best fresh fish anywhere. The line-ups are long and there is a process but once you get through that, the food is awesome. I had the best Cioppino that I've ever had. The prices are not cheap but reasonable for the quality of food. You basically line-up to place and... More

Won't find more fresh unless you catch it yourself. No-nonsense, multiple choice preparation (plate, salad, sandwich or taco, with respective pricing) and your choice of garlic/lemon grilling, breading, "blackening", so its really to your taste (I recommend the high-value, delicious tacos!) GREAT oysters here, too! Covered patio or inside, great service by a cute team, clever seating policy. But be... More

We heard of this place from Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. We were aware of the long lines, and planned to get to the restaurant at least 20 minutes prior to opening (on a Sunday morning). Aside from the meal we ate at the restaurant, we also purchased fresh seafood to bring home to cook later in the week...so we got... More

We went after a long day at the zoo. It was $70 for 4 of us. I had just a fried cod taco, my hubby had two tacos, one son had sashimi tuna and other son had two tacos and soup. I liked my taco but it wasn't the best fried fish taco I have ever eaten. My husband liked... More

We came on the recommendation of an RV service tech who lives here. We got there about 1:15 - the line was out the door. When we left at 2:45 the line was even further out the door! This is an indication of how good it is. You stand in line to order. The waitress points out a seat for... More

So of course there is a line and not that many tables. So what??? If fresh fish made as you like it is your thing then just go here. I had a grouper taco with bourbon sauce and a deep fried lobster taco. Yum! My wife had the blackened Mahi sandwich. Great lobster bisque and onion rings. The food was... More

Hole in the wall place in an area being marketed as International Eat Street. Pick up a menu and plan your order as the the line you stand in moves past the case with the fish on ice. Bright, odorless, sushi grade seafood. Not fancy, plastic plates, too few servers...its all about the fish here. My party had lobster taco,... More
