Wanted more

I've always heard Nobu is the best place to go get sushi. Well they were right. We ordered the rock shrimp and tempura shrimp roll. So delicious that it melted in our mouths. Would highly recommend. Little pricey, but well worth it.

I was invited to a departmental dinner here; we sprawled across several tables during a busy event and the staff were attentive and patient with us. I don't eat any seafood at all, and had not expected much to come from this experience... but they had a beef and a chicken skewer that combined made a great meal. The bento... More

We went there for dinner with another couple. The setting was familiar as it looks like most Nobu restaurants around the world. The service was good and so was the food. However we didn't experience anything special. The seafood was fresh but again nothing special. The mood was a bit dull. In other Nobu's you sometimes get a certain feel of... More

Nobu in Malibu has been a favorite for 15+ years. In Las Vegas and NYC it is a noisy scene, no longer special. We went the other night for the travel zoo 7 course 'premium' dinner that costs $229 for 2 with a value of $375. Not only was it no where near the value of a $375 dinner for... More

Loved this place! went there to celebrate our anniversary and loved both the food and the ambiance. The dress code is supposed to be a dressed up but you can still find people dressed in casual attires. It is kind of loud but it won't bother you if you like lounge music and you are not going with a large... More

Great and imaginative food (and quite a bit of it). Went with a group from a meeting at convention center on a busy evening - nice table, but couldn't talk with anyone other than one's neighbor given the high decibel level.

I booked a group of 9 people for NOBU after some conference meetings. We had a great table, then learned 2 more were joining us. They were gracious in getting us moved. I was all set to order individually, but the waiter talked us into family style, saying that the portions were large. We all left still hungry. For 11... More

Must try the signature black cod. It has all the fine dining perks, but you can wear jeans and flip flops, waitress knew exactly how to send the food out and pour the wine. Worth the money for a nice dinner out

I have yet to pass a Nobu where ever I see one. It is like McDonald's, food is always consistent and service is always great. This one doesn't have the bake crab meat in creamy source, too bad and they ran out of monk fish liver.

Very nice restaurant and great staff. This is truly what an upscale sushi restaurant should be. Lots of great choices and presented very well. Had some delicious Saki and the staff made sure I had a full cup at all times, lol But, you must know that sushi in general isn't cheap, and especially when in a restaurant like this... More
