Our meal wasn't bad per se but being used to the NYC location we were a bit disappointed. Def not the same. What upset me the most was missing the opportunity to have gone to so many wonderful restaurants in the area to come here . Service and cocktails were good, food was average, and there was no vibe .... More

Nobu is located in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego in the Hard Rock Hotel a few blocks from the convention centre and hotels that line the marina. The food and service at Nobu is consistent no matter which location you visit globally. We ordered the $150 per person Chef's creation menu and sat at the counter in front of... More

My husband and I dined at Nobu last Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. The beverage menu was excellent and I enjoyed my cocktail. We enjoyed a delicious beef dish as well as an outstanding fried Alaskan King crab leg dish. I had a spicy tuna roll as well and it was delicious. Everything... More

We went to Nobu with a few girlfriends this Saturday. All of us love sushi and I have to say if this was the first sushi meal I ever had, I would never eat it again. We shared two large house sakes at $25 each and only had four sushi items. Two cut rolls and four orders of sushi and... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who warned that it's pricey but also noted that it's WORTH it. Both true. I went on the early side as I was traveling for business, so it wasn't very crowded, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I dropped a chopstick on the floor and before I could even reach for it,... More

I lived in Japan as a kid and had a bad experience in the Tokyo fish market, so my relationship with fish, especially raw fish, is tenuous at best. My daughter, on the other hand, loves sushi and wanted me to come to Nobu, one of her favorite places to eat. Thanks to the helpful staff, we were able to... More

Tried Nobu the first time in Dubai years ago and so it was clear to book Nobu in San Diego. And guess what it was fantastic. Every piece of Sushi, Sashimi or hot dishes was awesome. Can't say more. Just good as I expected.

I was here for a convention and the location is close to the conference center. We asked our waiter to bring selections and we ate family style. I would recommend as we all tried sushi we may not have tried if we ordered on our own. Very nice for small group. Fish was fresh and served beautifully. Really liked the... More
