Fantastic Experience

Was in town on a business trip. Stayed near the restaurant as it was within walking distance to the convention center. The food was amazing and fresh as you would expect. The waitstaff was incredibly knowledgable and made great recommendations. Our party was completely satisfied

Every plate we ate was absolutely fabulous, You can feel the search for excellence and the innovative way of presenting and combining different types of food. If it wasn't so expensive I would move next to a Nobu to be able to eat there every day

Had only sushi. Fresh, fast and tasty. Tuna sashimi was wonderful. Belvedere martini was one of the best I have had. Wine list and saki list extensive and fairly priced. Need help with saki choice unless you are expert. Some tables a bit to close together. Be sure to be happy with table

We were a table of four, shared some of the waiter´s suggestions, but they were too small and so expensive! Ended with sushi, very good but not unforgetable...

Everything was fantastic! If you are on a tight budget definitely opt for happy hour. We went twice during our trip ate in the lounge once and then in the bar area for happy hour. We tried at least 8 different dishes nothing disappointed.

I was lucky enough to visit during restaurant week which, I think saved me a little, although there were up charges on most items. Service was very slow but they blamed that on a back-up at food stations due to the restaurant week menu being popular. I thoroughly enjoyed the yellowtail with jalapeño, which is a signature item. Also enjoyed... More

The restaurant is located a block from the San Diego convention center. We were there for Restaurant Week and ordered off the prix-fixe menu. Two items we enjoyed from the 5-course meal were the jalapeño hamachi and the shiitake mushroom salad with the lobster upgrade. It was all claw meat in our salad. The sushi rolls were not very remarkable.... More

Nobu is right across the street from the Convention Center, and has an elegant and refined interior. The service is excellent, and the wine list extensive, if a little expensive. It was quite busy even on a weeknight. This is a higher end sushi place, and the prices reflect it. Simple cut rolls started at $10, as does the house... More

Nobu is a very high end restaurant. Service is excellent and at no point was the experience less than pleasant. Waiter was very polite, patient and efficient. On that front. I would have gave them full mark. The food is tasty or in this case, exciting. The ambient was great and we certainly did have the conversation we needed. However,... More
