Happy Hour is worth it!

We went there to celebrate a birthday with cocktails and tapas, in the Happy hour (5-7pm) and it was great! The restaurant was pretty empty, so no noise problems as read on previous comments... And the great thing about happy hour is of course prices!!! So we ordered many cocktails, special mention... read more

Very good meal. Service professional. We added passion fruit sake to our feast. Bill high but worth it. More than satisfied. Happy we went!

I'd been craving good sushi -- and this fit the bill. Large menu with abundant choices of starters and mains. The Bluefin Toro Tartare with Caviar was an excellent starter. The sushi was delicious -- a narrower selection than i was expecting, but still good. My server was outstanding -- I feel bad I do not remember her name.

My wife and I went after a long conference day. The service was excellent and very attentive. Small plate idea that my wife and I shared. Tuna tacos were incredible ( order 2 when you go, they are that good). We also tried the tuna tataki very good. We followed withTomato Ceviche to add a few vegetables to our meal.... More

After a long couple of hours presenting a poster at conference, my husband and I were ready for an early dinner, but didn’t have reservations anywhere. We had always wanted to dine at a Nobu, and it turned out this was our big chance, as one is positioned right at the border of the Gaslamp Quarter. We arrived a few... More

Black Cod lettuce wraps were awesome. Fries and Brussels Sprouts were good. We were disappointed in the Sea Bass as we remembered it being miso glazed in Vegas and this was cooked well, but not to our taste.

Had been to Nobu midtown Manhattan a few years ago, so was looking forward to Nobu San Diego. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about is the amount of people they cram into the space which makes it very loud and hot in there. Extremely attentive, friendly and organized service. Tuna tacos were awesome, house roll is very good,... More

Went with friends after a busy day and really enjoyed the food- The sushi was REALLY good and the kumamoto oyster delicious. Cocktails were average. The only downside was that it was really loud and we ended up yelling- will come back!

Went for some cocktails and sushi with friends. Nice ambience and good service. cocktails were quite nice but was underwhelmed by the sushi - although fresh, little flavor. The tempura shrimp were cold and no better than what would be found in a cheap Chinese buffet. The ceviche had nice pieces of different fish and shellfish, but the marinade had... More
