Everything was fine at our meal at Nobu. We went in ready to be a little adventurous, try some new things. And we did! One of my friends wanted nothing more than to try sea urchin, and even though we all agreed that it was not for any of us, we were all glad to be able to try it.... More

Nobu has an incredibly broad selection of seafood items and a great bar and wine list. The service was outstanding -- we challenged them by adding unexpected guests to our table midway through dinner!

Three of us in San Diego on business had a superb dinner at Nobu. We each ordered three dishes (nine different items) and enjoyed multiple cocktails. The main idea at Nobu is to share and all the dishes are relatively small but uniformly has great flavor. The service was spot on. If you are on a budget this not the... More

I had the chefs menu on the night I visited, the portions were too small and the service was spacey and long at best, a couple of courses were very good, but overall, not worth the price and or the hype.

My boyfriend and I started with the cucumber martini and the MIA margarita, both were delicious. We ordered the edamame with truffle oil to change it up a bit from standard edamame which is also offered and it was amazing, highly recommend. We also ordered chicken and beef skewers with special dipping sauces and each one was unique and had... More

Ordered the $100 Chef's Menu, which consisted of multiple courses of inspired preparation and presentation. Service staff was knowledgeable and very attentive, bringing and removing dishes with perfect timing. An excellent experience all around. Not inexpensive, but every dish was special.

I really enjoyed my visit to nobu San Diego, we got to seat at the bar so it was really fun to see all the chefs prepared sushi and sashimis, I´ve been in Nobu Las Vegas last summer and I have to say that I like The Las Vegas more, but Nobu San Diego didnt let me down

Business dinner and all of us were from out of town. But several fun people so we went to Nobu rather than the usual steakhouse. Appetizers to entrees were absolutely delicious. Try the family style entrees more than the usual rolls that you find anywhere. The lobster and mushroom dish or melt-in-your-mouth sizzling beef were terrific. We ordered several dishes... More

I had my doubts about this palce as it is so trendy but the sushi was excellent, and I was pleasently surprised there were so many things for vegetarians.

Between two people we shared Nobu sashimi tuna tacos, mixed seafood tempura, black cod miso (the best dish!), the "House special" cut sushi roll, hamachi sashimi with jalapeno, salmon ("new style") sashimi, kanpachi sashimi with artichoke, and several more sushi and sashimi dishes along with a nice Onigoroshi sake and finished with kakigori (shaved ice dessert) and tofu cheese cake....
