Great food, great service!

Love everything we have for dinner! There are a lot of options in the menu, the plates are well served and the miso soup was superbe! Love the beverages, the tea and desserts too!

We came for happy hour & the deals were ok... but our servers friendliness was great. So we got some Kirin lights & their $20 happy hour special saki is delicious. The disappointment was the food. The house special roll - fishy & not that great. Tacos - same, fishy & not that great. Shrimp happy hour (forget what it's... More

My wife and I went her for happy hour last week and Nobu never disappoints. We ordered the ceviche, the spicy tuna with crispy rice, creamy spicy crab tacos, and the salmon tataki. Everything was delicious and sublime as always and the servers were very friendly and helpful. To drink, we had the Mango martini and the lychee martini, bith... More

Came here on a one night stay in San Diego with my partner. Ok, I'm English (although my partner is from the US), I'm not used to the high-level of service expected in the US. But still, the staff at Nobu were by far the most attentive, thoughtful and experienced in the menu that I've come across on the east... More

First - don't go to Nobu if you are worried about price. For me, this is a restaurant to surrender to excellence and you aren't worried about cost. Cocktails were perfect. The food is tapas style with different dishes served one after another. We went with our son and daughter in law - I'm not a sushi person so I... More

I've always enjoyed Nobu San Diego everytime I've visited San Diego. Its always been excellent (on some occasion, very good). However,on this latest trip, we were very disappointed. The fish/sushi dishes were still excellent. No complaints. The beef dish was just OK. I thought the NY Steak was very tough and the temperature was all wrong (we asked for medium... More

There is nothing really to say about Nobu - other than if you like Japanese and Sushi, this is a must eat restaurant when in San Diego. All of the food is incredible. It looks amazing and it tastes amazing. My top picks would be the tuna tacos and the soft shell crab with pickled watermelon. They are life changing!... More

We love Nobu and consider it a special occasion kind of place because it can get PRICEY. We experienced wonderful attentive, service and the Tempura Crab is a personal favorite. We had two orders, but MAN! is it great.

I've been to Nobu NY, my trip to NY was my first experience with japanese omakase and I fell in love with the restaurant. I didn't expect the SD location to be on par with NY, however I was still expecting a decent meal. Boy was I disappointed. We paid for the $120 travelzoo deal for the set dinner. Based... More
