Good food, painstakingly slow service

When we walked in, there were hardly any patrons, it was not even 9a on a Friday. It appeared that there was one person waiting tables, the cashier, and making coffee. It was a good thing that we were not in a rush. We had eggs and crepes. We almost ordered 2 orders of crepes as our waiter was... read more

This restaurant was a quaint little place that my daughter and I loved! She said the Chai Tea Latte was the best she ever had! I had the Eggs Benedict and they were devine! The service was very friendly and the restaurant inside was extremely pretty! Would highly recommend this place!

Went for breakfast around 9:00 AM. Place was busy but not packed. Service was very slow with our first waiter. He disappeared. Better with our second waiter.

Having lived in France, I am always excited when I discover a real French bakery. Just steps from the Westin Gaslamp, this place is authentic and has delicious food. Crepes are well made, fresh jus d'orange, great, authentic selection. The only thing I didn't like - and was disappointed about - were the croissants and pain au chocolats. They were... More

If you are in the hotel district the location is the primary advantage of this restaurant. The menu offers much variety in the breakfast/brunch department. But the food was poor quality. Stale bagel. Undrinkable cappucino. I would not return. Walk 15 minutes out of the hotel district for better fresh options such the coffee shop on First and G Street... More

I had their special for breakfast which was hot French toast with a berry compote. It was fabulous and was made from a croissant. This wasn't my favorite breakfast spot in my trip but it was very good and the location was convenient for me. They have a nice patio and we're pretty quick with their food.

My wife And I visited St. Tropez Bakery & Bistro last weekend for a special event put on by Broadway San Diego. They were having a " Meet and Greet" for the Tony Awards best actor, singer and dancer Ben Vereen, before the Ben Vereen Awards competition at the Balboa Theater. We have been to St. Tropez before, and when... More

We stopped here for a breakfast and to sit outside on the sidewalk. The service is slow and we finally ordered. My wife ordered scrambled eggs and only requested they not be overcooked and dry. I had an omelet. It took about 20-25 minutes for my food to arrive even though there were only about 6-8 people here. The omelet... More
