Not exaggerating when I say Id wait an hour if I need to to eat here. Richard Walkers is so good! Try the upside down apple pancakes if you like apple pie for breakfast and have a big appetite. The Strawberry Crepes with Orange sauce is our favorite as well. A bit more on the expensive side but you will... More

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday morning on a whim. We happened to see an article about the restaurant in a magazine in our hotel room. We are glad we stumbled across the article. The outside of the restaurant looked exactly like the magazine article (line and all.) Don't be put off by the line, it moved... More

After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we found the place over hyped. It was crowded, noisy, expensive, and rushed. If you want a tourist trap, go to here. If you want a better breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere on the bay, try Buster's.

I went to Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and was as regular a diner as I could be at Walker Bros' Pancake House in Wilmette. I have missed their pancakes regularly since graduating, so imagine my thrilled surprise at finding one in San Diego when my family was recently there for spring break. My sons and I raced over from... More

The chocolate chip pancakes were delicious but were slightly rich. A half order was plenty for any average human. The omelets were scrumptious but you had to order off the menu or you had to pay for each additional ingredient. The hot chocolate was out of this world!!! The strawberries and cream were tasty. It was a little pricey and... More

We read about Richard Walker's Pancake House, and while in San Diego we decided to go there for breakfast. The wait looked to be about 45 minutes, and at first we thought twice about going there. After all, we had some sightseeing to do. But we decided to hang in there, and we could not be happier about our decision.... More

I found this restaurant on trip advisor and the reviews were correct, this place is great. I went on a Thursday morning at 8:30 and luckily did not have to wait. The menu was huge and had a lot of options so I asked the waitress for her opinion. She suggested the apple pancake and she was right on. It... More

We found this restaurant from Trip Advisor. The weight was not bad and our waitress was very accommodating. I ordered the Apple Pancake. It is huge. I could only eat half of the pancake and took the rest to the hotel for later. My husband ordered the spinach omelette and raved about it. He is not a breakfast person. So... More

Whether it is eggs or pancakes this place serves delicious and bountiful dishes. Specialty pancakes (Apple, Dutch, etc) are big and cooked perfectly. All egg entrees are accompanied with pancakes or toast. Everything is very good. This review is being submitted after our third visit. Every visit provided excellent service and food.
