There is nothing to dislike. Food is fabulous. Coffee, BEST I have ever had. Eat there EVERY time I go to San Diego. Fresh fruit, best pancakes and an array of food I have never seen or heard of. Spectacular service, small restaurant and there is always a line outside the door waiting to get inside. ALWAYS !!! They get... More

We waited approximately 38 minutes on a Saturday morning at 10am to be seated, but it was well worth it. The line moves fast, and the gentleman seating was very informative with a great deadpan sense of humor. The service was great, and the food was incredible. High quality ingredients and a lot of choices. The bacon was excellent, thick... More

If you love pancakes and are hungry as a horse this place is for you! I don't think I've ever seen a bigger breakfast in my life. Although I'm not a huge eater, my wife and I split an order and still couldn't finish. The quality of the food is very good and so was the service. They have both... More

Our hotel recommended RW's and we visited on our first morning in San Diego. The menu offers an extensive choice of breakfast favorites as well as some innovative other dishes. My wife had the french toast and I had one of the tasty egg dishes, both were excellent. Best to get there early or around ten as you can end... More

We tried this place once during our vacation in San Diego and we came back before leaving. We had to get in line in order to sit, but when we were inside we understood why. The staff is friendly and quick, music is lovely and coffee is delicious and refilled all the time. And pancakes are... awesome! We tried the... More

First time at this popular place. We had to wait about 20 minutes but the food was well worth the wait. Service was exceptional. I had the banana pancakes they were so yummy. The syrup is heated which makes it taste that much better. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

This branch of a small family chain of restaurants is conveniently located near the San Diego bayfront, Gaslamp district and convention area. The menu has an incredible array of choices, the service is quick (although there are often lines out the front during typical breakfast times), and the food is very good.

Some of the best pancakes we have ever had. We ate at the La Jolla location and would definitely recommend eating there...just not on a Sunday as the line ups go on forever.

We showed up with a party of twelve. We discovered that this is a small place but after an hour wait they were able to seat us all together. Very thoughtful. They let us order while in line and when we sat down the food was there in five minutes. The pancakes were very good. The syrup was as thin... More
