Friends and family raved about this place when they found out I was heading to San Diego and insisted that I try it out. So glad I did. When I arrived around 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, there was a short line, but since I was by myself, they seated me right away. Everyone from the host to the wait... More

Once we discovered this place we walked here every morning from the Marriott. We got there early to avoid the long lines. But a wait is worth it for the great pancakes. The food is fresh and the service is good.

I was not disappointed with my early morning breakfast at Richard Walker's Pancake House. I had a pecan waffle with a side of bacon and coffee (19.28 with tax). The waffle had pecan bits in the batter and lots of whole pecans scattered on top. The bacon (4 pieces) was thick cut. The service was quick and friendly. The breakfast... More

If you love pancakes this is the place to go. Huge selection for breakfast and some dishes look so delicious with fruit galore. Go to this restaurant feeling hungry but be prepared to wait for a table. Very busy at weekends. Staff efficient and friendly.

Walker's pancakes were about the best you can get. Many places offer them but often they're soggy or doughy, but not at Walker's. I got there early, before the crowds, and the service was very good. My coffee cup was never empty and the food was plentiful, hot and reasonably priced. It is a classy place with great service.

Probably the only place I consistently go back to and I'm never disappointed! The service is amazing and the food is perfect. The line is scary but they give you menus in advance and have even taken our orders before being seated.

This pancake house was suggested as a breakfast destination. We were pretty early, so only had to wait about five minutes for a table. I'm not sure I'd have been happy waiting 30+ minutes for a table, but I guess you can't blame a restaurant for being popular! We got coffee and juice as soon as we were seated, and... More

So we were looking for a local place to enjoy a hardy breakfast before tackling the zoo and I found this restaurant on Google maps....OMG! It was well worth the drive...When we arrived we stood outside in a short line and was given the menu --- *blank stare* from my bf (first timer for this type of waiting) I think... More

I had two of my favorite breakfasts in a long time at Richard Walker’s Pancake House. The raspberry crepes were the best I’ve ever had – even better than Paris! The two light and eggy crepes were filled with wonderful raspberry compote, topped with fresh raspberries, and dusted with powdered sugar. The serving was substantial enough to be satisfying but...
