Worth the wait - you will die and go to pancake heaven

There will undoubtedly be a group of people lined up outside of Richard Walker's to get in. But do not be deterred. Their breakfast is simply divine and worth every minute you wait. I recommend the baked apple cinnamon pancake; it melts in your mouth! A little on the pricey side, but again, very... read more

Two things WE did wrong. We waited too long to plan our Sunday breakfast and we waited too long to walk over to the restaurant. We waited just over an hour on the sidewalk. Fortunately for us the weather was good and there's a coffee shop across the road. The restaurant is tiny tiny inside; no wonder there's such a... More

I yelped a breakfast joint and this pancake house was highly recommended with a notation of "worth the wait". Indeed there was a wait time of 20+ minutes and yes, it was worth the wait. Share your meal and it will be more than enough to fill your belly. Many unique menu choices. Tight, heated seating on the patio. The... More

This place was recommended and it certainly was as wonderful as promised. The line was a bit long when we arrived, wait was only about 20 minutes and worth the wait. We ordered omelettes and the famous Apple baked pancake. The portions were large and we left quite stuffed, next time we'll share an omelette so we can finish the... More

If you like apple pie then you will love thier apple pancakes. If you order the apple pancakes, do it with a friend becasue you will not be able to finsihed all of it. The bacon is excellent.

This place is very small and you will probably have to wait in line. But the food makes every minute worth the wait. Try the Dutch Baby ( smaller version of the German Pancake) one of my favorites.

When I have family travel in, I always take them to Richard Walker's Pancake House downtown right after the pick up from the airport. They love a good pancake place as do I. Their menu offers something for everyone in my clan and the service is fast and friendly. We keep coming back!

Super place for breakfast. No where near as crowded as other reviewers reported. The apple pancake was awesome. Others in our group enjoyed the omelet choices.. Great and prompt service.

Went there again on this visit .. My first experience was in June 2011 and in this visit I woke up there on my first day .. Very nice service .. Their omelette's and pancakes are delicious .. You can't stop ordering them with their freshly squeezed OJ and freshly brewed coffee ... You choose to sit either in or... More

On our trip we had an expensive breakfast the first day. We were looking for some more normal fare and this place seemed to offer that. in a 6 day trip we had three breakfasts here. That is how good it was. From the Waffles being real waffles (not pancake mix) to the dutch baby, to the Eggs Benedict, this... More
