Fast friendly service. The blueberry pancakes were spectacular. My family with me had raspberry and strawberry crepes and raved about them.

We ordered our breakfast to go. Kids liked the pancakes and my husband liked his omelet. I'll say, the omelet reminded me more of a frittata. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're looking for a classic omelet, it will probably miss the mark. But the French toast was the best I've ever had! Give it a try!

Saw the pictures and read the hype and made the trip before 8am on a Saturday to beat the rush. Ordered the baked apple pie pancake, a side of corn beef hash and a glass of cold milk. The whipped butter was nearly bowl-sized and could see why once the inflated, golden, its edges darkened and crisp apple laced goodness... More

This place is a must when visiting San Diego but you must be willing to either get there by 8 am or to wait on a line for about half an hour, at least. This are the greatest pancakes ever! Loved the apple filled pancake and the omelets are delicious, too. They serve big portions so be ready to share!

One of the best breakfasts ever had!!!! Was so good we went back a seconds morning!! The chef knows how to make wonderful fluffy pan cakes and the bacon was crisp and yummy!!! Had different wait staff each morning and both were the friendliest I have met in a long time!! Hats off!!!

We wanted to dine at Richard Walker's on Sunday but decided the block long line outside was too long to wait. Returned on Monday morning to find the same long line and decided we needed to learn why. We're so glad we waited the second time. Despite the incredibly packed house, the staff was very friendly and provided personalized, attentive... More

I decided to be adventurous and ordered the dutch pancake. It was delicious and not as filling as an ordinary pancake. I also had a side order of scrambled eggs which were perfectly cooked. My daughter ordered strawberry pancakes which were also delicious. Portions were large. The restaurant is crowded and a line formed to be seated, even at 10am.... More

I love Richard Walker's for many reasons. First, it is within easy walking distance of the downtown hotels. Second, the portions are large and the prices are so reasonable. And last, the staff are so friendly and also smiling. My favorite thing is the blueberry crepes, which the perfect amount of sweet and tangy, but I recently tried the raspberry... More

I was in town for Cisco Live 2015 conference and decided to eat somewhere different for breakfast. The restaurant is nice, but the tables are a little to close together. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good, but I would not consider it great. I will go back the next time that I am in town.

The place is too tiny and the tables are too close to each other and it gets really noisy. I order a spinach crepe: the spinach had no taste like eating grass and the crepes tasted like a pancake (maybe I m European but there is a difference!)
