I was visiting from out of town on business and went there because the restaurant was next to my hotel. I was pleasantly surprised that the food, service, and value were outstanding. The first night I had the carnitas burrito and it was fantastic! Later in the week I had the shrimp tacos and they were also excellent. Enjoy!

The place was recommended to us by our cousin and it was a great place for Mexican Food. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mexican Food and is visiting San Diego.

Outstanding combo fajitas. Quality of food is excellent. Quantity is more than adequate. Fair prices for abundant selection of entree's. Very clean restaurant. Staff is courteous and friendly. If you are looking for some good tasting and quality Mexican food, this is a stop for you.

Wow, service was really bad and food wasn't much better. I Had fish tacos. There was so much filler I didn't taste the fish. The tortilla fella part because it was so soggy. Very disappointed

We were each served our own bowl of salsa, which we devoured. I had a shrimp taco and a fish taco, and they were both delicious. They were so big I could barely pick them up, but I ate every bite. My friend had a burrito which would easily feed 2 people. We had hoped to return to try more... More

There were seven of us and when we entered they brought over fresh chips and salsa with plenty of cilantro and we were hoping this was going to be an indication of how good the rest of the meal would be, but alas this was the best part of our meal. A few of us ordered fish tacos and for... More

When we want good Mexican Food and are in the Mission Valley area, we usually head to Tio Leo's. The food is consistently really good and there is some sort of music and dancing with lessons almost every night. The bar tenders are really pleasant and pay attention, even if the waitresses are a little surly. It's an old bar/restaurant... More

Margarita not the greatest, but the shrimp chile relleno was fantastic. The servings were so big that I recommend just going to the last page of the menu and ordering alla cart. The tostada was the biggest I have ever seen. It looked more like a salad until you get down to the tortilla. The prices were very reasonable. The... More

we went there because the Red Elvises were playing. Food very good, lots of meat in the burritos and tacos, great service atmosphere (we were in the bar area, where they play music),,, not perfect because we had a Margaritas and then.. we decided to switch to beers... not the best Margaritas as you would expect from a Mexican restaurant...

This authentic Mexican restaurant has some very good appetizer deals which can easily substitute for a meal! Try the Street Tacos and a Margarita and bang! Out of there for under 10 bucks!
