Excellent food - had wonderful appetizers as well as ceviche and it was outstanding. Good drinks plus good service. Best of all it is not crazy expensive and the view can't be beat.

On March 12, 2014 12:30 pm. I took my long time friend to lunch for his 70th Birthday to C Level. He had the Grilled Chicken Salad. I had the Shrimp Louie. One bite of the small limp gray shrimp was enough to make you sick. And yes it did, very sick. About 9pm that night I became very Ill... More

All food was bland, no flavor from appetizers to entrees. Didn't order dessert, not worth spending anymore money. Noisy atmosphere, could not here our party. Use some kind of seasoning, please

The setting for Island Prime couldn't be more spectacular! The restaurant is on pillars on the edge of the bay! We were privileged to view a sailboat regatta from our window table. It's such a special place. We celebrated my husband's birthday there. We ordered an appetizer using crusted brie. Very tasty. My husband ordered the largest cut of prime... More

Great views, food was good, but a little pricey, but I guess you are paying for the views. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Will return to sit on the patio

You can walk from the Sheraton to this restaurant. The blackened Salmon salad was so memorable. This sits on the water where you can watch the sail boats and big ships come in and out of the harbor. It seems that we always have a wait because it is so popular.

The food and wine selection was extremely good. We had great service, but what really stood out was the view and activities on the water.

The food generally is okay at Island Prime, although one of our fish entrees (sea bass) was completely overcooked and no better than you would get at any restaurant. While we had a long-standing reservation, it took us 20 minutes to be seated while we were standing and ignored--with a buzzer no less. Are we at Olive Garden waiting outside... More

Absolutely one of the finest restaurants I have ever been to in my entire life. The views of San Diego at night are stunnig! We had a large party of 8 without a reservation. We called to find out when they had any available seating. When we arrived the host staff was extremely accommodating and we were seated fairly quickly.... More
