We had a few martinis in the bar (well in the waiting area outside) before our meal. We ended up with a 40 min wait even though we had a reservation. We were only a table of 4, so not like it was that difficult. We did request an ocean view and were happy to wait (once we got some... More

My fiancé and I came here Saturday night (10/11) for her birthday and were able to get a window seat with a view that was amazing. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some great recommendations to start with. She was also able to offer samples of wine and we were able to pick the perfect one... More

I had pre booked the restaurant after reading all the comments and was glad I had as it was labour day weekend so really busy. We arrived early to get a drink and heard the wait was an hour and 30 mins! We had a couple of drinks then were shown to a lovely table overlooking SD. As it was... More

Come hungry and plan to stay a while. Don't rush through this one!! Happy Hour on the patio, wait for the sunset over the harbour, enjoy a bottle of wine, leave room for dessert.

Our nearby hotel recommended this restaurant and so we arrived at 7:30 on a Monday night with no reservation. They made a special effort to find a table for the two of us. It had excellent views of both the harbor and the city. Our waitress was attentive and the food was excellent. We had the prime rib and the... More

I selected on Tripadvisor this restaurant for a dinner considering its night view on the San Diego skyline. 2 days before, as an American Express Centurion Titanium card member I asked to Amex Travel to make a reservation for a window table for 2 with the SD view. Waiting for the table, I had a great mojito at the bar.... More

I was in the San Diego area for a conference and relied on my trip advisor app for restaurant recommendations. This place was incredible. The view was unreal, staff very attentive and food was perfectly prepared. I had the fish and chips - ranks among the best I've had !

Island Prime is a must when in the downtown San Diego area. The views of the bay are equally as extravagant as their extensive menu. Started off with the seared Ahi stack & then had their Macadamia crusted Seabass. Both were delicious and extremely fresh. We shared crispy Brussels sprouts & the island prime's twice baked potato as our sides,... More

Walked down along the bay from the Sheraton. We were late for lunch but early for dinner so it was not too crowded. We were given a table with awesome view overlooking the bay. Mixture of folks in shorts & T's with dressier group. Menu had good variety, portion sizes were good and the desserts were huge! Price was reasonable... More
