They take a lot of pride in the decor, the service, and the delectable food. Croque madame, basque eggs, sage-truffle poached eggs, and frites--all excellent. I wanted someone at the table to order the french toast with creme fraiche, the vanilla pain perdu, but no one did. I must go back in search of perfection.

This was our second visit to Cafe Chloe. We were attending the Paul McCartney concert and wanted a place that would be relatively close to Petco Park. This was a great choice. The place was really hopping. Not an empty table, but we had a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was very attentive for the amount of people... More

Lovely little bistro with the feel of a Parisian bistro. Salads, fresh and tasty, mac n' cheese, mussels, good wine selection, friendly, (ok, so that's not very Parisian), efficient staff. We will definitely be back!

Small and comfortable place. Has spot on French environment. If sitting outside, beware the typical San Diego characters and slight uncomfortable smell. Female server could of given better service. Besides that, weather, food, and environment was great.

Title says it all - was in San Diego 4 mornings and had two breakfasts here. Service great, very French feel and the food was awesome. Cannot think of anything negative to say!

We were seated outside. Loved the restaurant. Food was very good. Soup of the day ( Gazpacho) had too much cream but , apart from that, dinner was delicious and deserts were outstanding. ( we had key lime pie and affogato). Good variety of wines. Extremely friendly and professional staff.

This was our first stop once we arrived in San Diego and glad we did! We enjoyed the steak-frites, macaroni (without pancetta), poached eggs with wild mushroom & sage-truffle beurre blanc and a lavender lemonade. Staff were accommodating with our requests and every bite was divine! Would definitely go back if ever in San Diego again.

I eat here every time I am in San Diego and it has never disappointed. The service is excellent and so is the food. Had the rose mimosa with breakfast...it was delicious! I have to say the Lavender Lemonade Mimosa is my favorite. You have to try this place at least once nad you will come back again.

Great French-inspired brunch menu and excellent coffee. We were able to enjoy dining at a small table on the patio. Service was very friendly and appropriate for brunch. The restaurant was very willing to accommodate a friend with very restrictive diet and did so with a smile on their faces.

We loved the ambiance, the staff, the food. It was a perfect lunch to end our trip. We'd love to return for dinner. We had Croque Madame, Pomme Frites, lavender lemonade, and a divine strawberry tart (with espresso, of course!) for dessert. A sunny day with the breeze blowing through, a family celebrating a wedding, just sublime. I smile thinking... More
