Our place in San Diego!

My wife and I ate here on our first night in San Diego. We highly recommend the happy hour menu. $4 and $5 dishes, all gourmet, just smaller portions, which is perfect. I had the mussels with Spanish chorizo, white white sauce and frites (shoestring fries). My wife had the Mac and cheese with... read more

This is a very cute little French bistro in San Diego with a very limited menu to match. There are only seven entrees on the menu. One of them was rabbit stew...no thanks. I ordered the duck, which I usually love. But this was a duck leg, which looked and tasted very much like a turkey leg. It was not... More

My wife and I wanted something light to eat so we walked around a found this cafe 2 blocks from our hotel. It was the night of the Rolling Stones concert so they were playing Stones music inside the restaurant which we liked. We had 2 appetizers which we both liked, one was the pomme frites with 3 different dipping... More

A little French place in the Gas Lamp area......open and light. Good service and reasonable selection (for 3 in the afternoon). We had Charcouterie with the perfect selection and a Edna Valley chard the was also perfect. On the down side.....except for a few, the wine prices were way too high for a CALIFORNIA Cafe. I have a hard time... More

From the minute I walked in the door, every employee greeted me and was very engaging. I had the locally wild caught bass and was the best tasting restaraunt prepared fish I have had. It came with some type of greens, which are very hard to prepare and they were scrumptous. I have quinoa routinely at home and again, I've... More

Had high expectations based on reviews. Sandbass was bland and I left hungry. Crusty French bread would have been great. Would not go back.

Ate here in November, came back on this trip to SD. Food is outstanding and our server, Nathaniel, was once again wonderful (as was Zach, his assistant). Not full of the ConCen crowd as it's not in the heart of the Gaslamp district.

This is a great place to have a glass of wine and try some original great food. French influences and a little piece of Europe in San Diego. A little out of the way. Great place to people watch and enjoy some sunshine on game days.

I was SO happy that my business trip to San Diego provided another opportunity to dine at Cafe Chloe!! Delicious food options for a group. And, for me, a few menu changes since my last visit afforded the opportunity to taste yet another scrumptious entree. The wine selection is superb and they do suggest wine pairings, if you want to... Exactly what you would want in a French cafe. Cozy, clean and trendy. Server was knowledgeable and helpful to ensure the perfect meal and experience. Food was perfect and the wines were perfectly matched. Prices were reasonable and I wou say a bargain based on the quality Highly recommended
