The food was great and so were the prices. I had a frittata and my friend had the machaca con huevos...both were delicious. We went on a Sunday morning pretty sure that we would have to wait and hoping the food was worth it - we beat the rush by less than 30 minutes but the food would have been... More

My family and I ate at this cafe (in Old Town/San Diego) at the recommendation of a local. Oh my goodness, it reminded me of the breakfasts my grandmother made me when I was little. This is homemade, comfort food. I had the pancakes and my other family members had eggs, hash brown, and bacon. All food was prepared well... More

Great place for breakfast or brunch. I have not eaten here for lunch but my boyfriend and I were certainly happy we stumbled on this place while walking down Pacific Beach. It's right on the sand, if there is any seating outside, it's a great place to have a meal. Good Bloody Mary's, tasty food and we had a great... More

I ordered a waffle and received a soggy one with a greasy piece of bacon on it. When I asked please could it be crispy as I had ordered the server replied, "It has been cooked there are no replacements and you must pay for it." I was schocked by her inappropriate words and would never return to the restaurant.... More

Perry's Cafe is just our kind of place for an excellent, big breakfast. I had the frittata with sausage and bacon, covered with cheese and it was excellent. It was served with a blueberry muffin that was also good. My husband is the world's biggest pancake fan, and he was happy with his choice at Perry's. He thought the bacon... More

Breakfast and lunch A+. Central to most activities, and good breakfast to start the day with. Super coffee, lots of choices, and great service. Been there forever. Check out the pies. Can't go wrong here.

A great staring point for a day in San Diego. Healthy portions, good food at a fair price. A family owned icon in Old Town San Diego for years!

This restaurant is located just on the edge of San Diego's Old Town and is a frequent truck stop and family diner. It features comfort food (often in hearty portion sizes) and is open for breakfast, brunch and lunch. I believe it closes down at 2pm. If you want a hearty and delicious omelette, good sized stack of pancakes ,... More

A friend and I went to San Diego for the weekend. We were looking for a place to eat breakfast, and the Walker Pancake House had a 2 hour wait. So we drove around trying to find someplace to eat. We drove for about 20-30 minutes, around and around in circles. Eventually we ended up driving down this road that... More

Breakfast at Perry's was a trip down memory lane to a classic old-time breakfast place with hustling servers, mountains of food, and a décor from a time gone by. I ordered the two eggs, hash browns, corned beef hash, and a biscuit (~ $8.00) and I definitely got my money's worth. The biscuit was huge, flavorful, moist, and warm. The... More
