Great seafood in San Diego, which is by an ocean. Should be easy right? Not so. Fresh fish, should be easy being that it is said this place also sells fish. That said, it is all up to the kitchen to prepare a great meal. Here the preparation seems to be old school and a bit heavy handed. While it... More

Don't miss the heirloom tomato salad!

We arrived by chance in this restaurant and were very happy with the food and the service. We ate outside at noon, the place is quiet. Raw fish was fabulous. I would go again without hesitation.

Really good service, great selection of fish. If you don't want to eat there they have a display of the fish / seafood available to purchase and carry home to cook yourself. Nice decor with the fish mounts. Reservations are recommended but we walked in with 6 people and luckily were seated right away.

This was our first visit to this restaurant in a Pacific Beach neighborhood. Very nice athmosphere and top quality service along with great food. I had swordfish tacos and my wife had scallops. Both were excellent and not overcooked. They also have a fresh fish counter where you can buy fish. The only problem was the street parking mainly in... More

This is a treasure in the Pacific Beach area. Don't miss the New England clam chowder and the crabcakes appetizer. The service staff was attentive. Parking can be a problem however so be ready for a healthy walk from your car.

I was really looking forward to a nice dinner at The Fishery in Pacific Beach. The ambience in the restaurant was nice, the service was good. Please be aware that parking is very hard as it is only street parking, especially on a Saturday night. We had to go around and around to find parking. I was disappointed with the... More

Who would have thought of making meatballs from seafood but they were absolutely delicious and the best tasting out of the three entrees we ordered. I've been here several times and it is a little overpriced....we spent over $300 for 4 of us.
