If you looking for seafood to be cooked at home they have "the market". Everything looked fresh but I think a little pricey. The restaurant menu had a wonderful selection, separate lunch & dinner menus. Lunch is served till 4pm and prices are reasonable. Most dinner entrees $30's. I enjoyed the swordfish tacos for dinner, grilled not fried, price was... More

Place is a great off the beaten path restaurant. Fantastic food fun atmosphere. I had the Seabass and my wife had the halibut. My son nine years old had the salmon and my daughter had shrimp & chips. When I read the reviews many said it was good for families. I could tell soon as our waitress walked up to... More

Was looking for a seafood restaurant to go to for my birthday. The Best Western recommended it. so glad they did. My crab cakes and the macadamia crusted halibut was to die for. I wanted to try everything on their menu.

I'm not wild about PB, but The Fishery is worth the trip. The salads were excellent, but the FISH was beyond good! We each had a different entree and all were contenders for best dish of the evening. And, even though we all claimed to be unable to eat dessert, we did share a couple and they were a perfect... More

This place serves fresh caught fish which is fantastic. Any thing on the menu is great. The place is a bit noisy for an upscale restaurant, but table conversation is still good. The wine list is also very good. All in all, one of the best seafood restaurants in the San Diego area!

My wife and I walked a pleasant mile or so from our hotel in Pacific Beach for a late dinner at this well-recommended restaurant. My first reaction upon seeing the nautical decor, the live tanks, and the variety of finned specimens on the walls was regret that I would only be able to enjoy one meal there on this trip.... More

First things first – Anytime you got to a restaurant for the first time, regardless of what you may read in a review, take a peek at the menu before you decide to dine there. I don’t know who figures the average cost of a meal for an adult, but when it states $11-30 (Yelp) and $30 - $30 (TripAdvisor)... More

I was entertaining two cousins from out of town. We had calamari and tuna as appetizers which were divine. Our waiter was adorable and recommended a nice champagne and took pictures of us as well. For the main course we all went with Swordfish fish tacos. Totally dee-lish! Great place. Highly recommend. One of the few places to go in... More

Anytime your seafood restaurant has a fish market in the lobby you know you are getting great fish but thinking that I could get authentic Mexican style salsa thirty minutes from the border left me disappointed. I had to ask for lime to squeeze onto the ceviche otherwise it would have been left undone. Would you order guacamole and expect... More

The seafood is pretty fresh at The Fishery. The cooking style is simple American seafood. Some of the dishes are good while others are more generic.
