This was our first visit to this restaurant in a Pacific Beach neighborhood. Very nice athmosphere and top quality service along with great food. I had swordfish tacos and my wife had scallops. Both were excellent and not overcooked. They also have a fresh fish counter where you can buy fish. The only problem was the street parking mainly in... More

This is a treasure in the Pacific Beach area. Don't miss the New England clam chowder and the crabcakes appetizer. The service staff was attentive. Parking can be a problem however so be ready for a healthy walk from your car.

I was really looking forward to a nice dinner at The Fishery in Pacific Beach. The ambience in the restaurant was nice, the service was good. Please be aware that parking is very hard as it is only street parking, especially on a Saturday night. We had to go around and around to find parking. I was disappointed with the... More

We visited San Diego & our local friends brought us here & we all loved it! Beautiful atmosphere with fresh fish counter filled with fresh caught seafood that looked so fresh like they'd could almost still be live... Friendly service. Great Food - Two of us had the special, hubby had swordfish, & 1 had swordfish tacquitos. Everyone enjoyed the... More

Who would have thought of making meatballs from seafood but they were absolutely delicious and the best tasting out of the three entrees we ordered. I've been here several times and it is a little overpriced....we spent over $300 for 4 of us.

We've been to this restaurant in the past and thought it was very good, but it's just not as good as it used to be. It is extremely over-priced for what you get. No pasta dish should cost that much, plus the crab was very fishy tasting and smelling. It was very busy, very noisy, and the server was rude... More

We recently ate at the Fishery with our son and our parents. The first step into this restaurant tells you immediately that fish is served. It smells a little fishy and there is a large fish counter right when you walk in. The night we were there, it was very crowded and very loud. We were seated at a large... More

Went here with colleagues. Very relaxing setting and atmosphere. Very nice fish choices even include very good sushi. All fish line catched unless otherwise mentioned. Good portions so no need for doggy bag which I like. Largest scallops I had ever seen. I would go back again for sure.

We have dined many times at the Fishery. The quality and presentation of the food has never disappointed us. The Tuesday night tasting menu is always a favorite and includes wine pairings for an extra charge. The only negative is that the service is not as consistent as the food quality.
