As the name implies, The Fishery specializes in sea food and it shows in the freshness and preparation. One of us had the Opa, which you could tell just be looking at it was cooked by someone who knows how to cook seafood properly, and tasting confirmed this. Fish and chips, when done right, is great, and this Cod was... More

Food was good ... a bit on the pricey side but very tasty! Service was great! A bit of a wait for a table even though we had a reservation ... they were busy!

This restaurant makes my top list for San Diego. I love love love every item there. We have been going there for over a decade and we make it a point to eat there whenever we are in San Diego. The outdoor seating is great on a nice day. The place is classy and fun. Food is wonderful. Overall, one... More

I took my daughter, son-in-law and grandson to eat there and every meal was outstanding. It's one of their favorite places. Love, love, love it!

Probably my favorite restaurant when in San Diego. Excellent service, menu, and wine list and never had a bad dinner there.

Fishery is a local restaurant that my entire family has enjoyed for several years. We eat at this restaurant at least once a week and also purchase fresh fish to take home and cook. They are also wholesalers to local restaurants. You won't find fresher fish anywhere in San Diego. Pricing is a bit expensive but as the old saying... More

Everything about this place is fresh and delicious. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Just one quibble: we ordered a bottle of white wine with our dinner, and as the evening progressed our wine became warm- if you decide to order a whole bottle of white wine, ask your waiter to place it in an ice bucket... I liked this place. The food was good and it had a nice atmosphere. When you come to San Diego, you expect to get local seafood. The Fishery would have been better if it had a better choice of local beer and had at least one local fish item on the menu.

I went there for lunch and had the mussels as starter, plus the wild shrimp sandwich. Fish was really fresh and well cooked! The atmosphere was quiet and customers were mainly old people searching for some good food in a nice residential area.
