Nice ambiance with fresh fish counter, open kitchen. Ordered Yellowtail in a nectarine barbeque sauce, excellent. Other person had macadamia crusted halibut, also excellent. Sides of potatoes were done well. Appetizer was ceviche, super fresh, served with tortilla chips and avocado. Other entrees seemed interesting. We are looking forward to returning.

Had a nice dinner here with my daughter and two of her friends. It's a nice restaurant (semi-casual) with a fish market. The decor is nice - lots of wood and fish and fishing pics on the wall (not tacky at all though). Sevice was quick, ample people and pleasant. Did get the feeling that he discounted us a bit... More

I've heard great things about this restaurant…but I don't get it. The fish and chips were fresh, but not very flavorful. Perhaps I should have tried some other fish entrée. However, the server said they were known for their fish and chips. There was too much batter for me and not enough flavor. The fries were very thin (which is... More

We celebrated my husband's birthday at the Fishery in Pacific Beach. It is a festive and noisy place, which suited us. The food is fresh and delicious, although it is not inexpensive. The sourdough bread is excellent, and we always ask for more. The service was attentive by both our waiter and busboy. Parking on the street nearby is easy.... More

We had a really nice evening. There is a cool atmosphere to the place - it's really good food, tasty and delicately presented. Young waiters, but they know their way around. It's gourmet fish dishes, but at a reasonable price - around 50 USD pr. person for drinks, meal, wine and desert.

I was recommended this restaurant from a local. A must try when you visit San Diego. Fresh fish and I must say the best fish and chips on the West Coast. Located 8 blocks north of the Catamaran resort and hotel.

This is a fish market that includes a restaurant. There is no view and the patio is really close to the street. We ate inside and the service was very good. The Halibut I had was right there with the best I have ever had and the presentation was excellent . My wife had scallops and was very pleased. This... More

We ate here twice in our 10 day visit to San Diego. There was every kind of sea food you could possibly want, to take home or eat in the very casual dining room attached to the market. We tried a wide variety of food in our group of 10-12 people, and everyone was delighted with their choices.

I have been to this restaurant several times in the last couple of weeks. The first time I sat alone at the bar with a lovely glass of Sauvignon Blanc and some grilled Alaskan halibut and the most delicious fries and homemade coleslaw ever. Their selection of fresh fish and shellfish is fantastic and the service is very friendly and... More

picked this restaurant because of the Ahi Tuna Poki. And it was as good as it should be. a nice little rice chip might have been nice to scoop it up, but the chopsticks worked too...every bit of it got into our mouths! This restaurant is about 25 min. north of the airport, in LaJolla. Seemed like a strange location,... More
