Dinner on the bay

We went for dinner around eight o'clock. They were pretty full still. Ordered crab cakes for appetizer. Three came and were smaller then a hockey puck each. But they were good and the sauce and salsa it came with was good as well. We got the fish tacos and stuffed shrimp. Both I think we would... read more

Nothing like a great order of Fish and Chips and an up close view of Navy Ships going to port. We were seated on the extreme corner of the restaurant and had a magnificent view of San Diego Bay. One order of Fish and Chips might be enough for 2, but we ordered 2. We were not disappointed.

I ordered t he fish tacos - they could make it gluten-free for me. I asked for a side of refried beans, and they accidentally sent out the fries. But the fries were the crispiest, most tasty fries I've ever had! (I'm not celiac and can eat gluten "contaminated" food.) And then they brought me the refried beans, and they... More

This rustic restaurant sits right on the water, so make sure you request a table with a view. The waitstaff was very helpful and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the best salmon ever and recommend it highly. Prices were reasonable and the setting was pleasant. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We made a reservation and when we arrived the girls at the front podium were laughing and said they accidentally gave our reservation to someone else. They then slopped together 3 tables to accommodate our party of 8 at the entrance to the restaurant which had a poor view of the water. They might as well seated us on the... More

Like the title says, being on the water was the best part. The service was the next best thing. The food was OK. Certainly over priced for what is served. The stuffed shrimp was small, shrimp over cooked and crab cakes the size of silver dollars.

Stopped for lunch while shopping at Seaport Village in San Diego. It seemed very full and busy but we were seated by the window with a great view of the harbor! The staff was friendly and efficient. We had the Cuban sandwich special which was large and delicious! We ordered ice tea and it came in a carafe for two.... More

Stopped here while walking around sea port village for lunch. Prices were a little much for lunch but the food was decent. Portion sizes lacked in my opinion for 14-20 dollars a plate.

I was here with a large party and they fit us in quickly. The food was amazing and the cocktails were fantastic. I had the fish and chips- so good!

This is a nice, relaxed cafe. We went there at on spur of the moment as we were walking around. The food is relaxed and so is the service. However the setting and the view out of the window were great. We went there right around the sunset, sipped on some nice margaritas as we watched the beautiful sunset. Recommended.
