Had passed by the Edgewater Grill many times on previous San Diego visits so finally decided to give it a try. The outside patio is so very close to the bay which provides a spectacular view. Its a huge restaurant inside but I think sitting outside is the only way to go (would be worth a wait) . I had... More

Well, I don't want to be harsh so I'll be brief instead. We were seated quickly, ordered salads, seafood pasta, and ricotta chicken (which was huge and unnecessary). Not a sea type meals, i didnt enjoy the meal at all. I guess they were going for "different" and they did it. The worst meal for $90 I've ever had.

Food and service is just okay. The steak sandwich and fries I had were really cold. However, fudge brownie and ice cream dessert was very good. I attended an event here and unfortunately the room was not set up to take advantage of the bay view. This restaurant should try a little bit harder because of its location.

While on business in San Diego, my son and I stopped here for breakfast. We took seating outside along the bay with a view of the naval station across the way. While eating, a large naval amphibious assault ship cruised by. VERY COOL for out of towners. The wait staff was fantastic. My son ordered a BLT with an egg... More

We stumbled across this place in Seaport Village doing the trolley tour last week. Now it has become our go to. We have always bellied up to the bar. We originally came for a cocktail and appetizer, only to find the best ceviche we have ever had loaded with shrimp and scallops. A meal with in itself. On our second... More

This a very nice restaurant with good food and excellent location. We had the Ciopino which was excellent. The portions were big enough and with a large amount of fish in it. Service was ok, not excellent, not bad. The location however is magnificent, during sun set, we had a magnificent view on the water. I would return here!

The food was very good; I think we both had fish and chips. Our waitress checked on us, and even secured the wifi password for us, when we told her we were on the cruise ship, and hadn't checked email in days! She assured us not to rush either. The restaurant had a wonderful view of the San Diego Bay.
