a bit of a wait to get in but well worth it. the pasta primavera was awesome more
We visited this restaurant on a recent trip to San Diego and we were very impressed! The place was buzzing on the evening we chose to go, so we felt lucky to get a table. Our waiter was pleasant and helpful. The pasta was fantastic - homemade and cooked to perfection. It was complimented well by the reasonably priced bottle... more
Located at the beginning of Little Italy. Cozy restaurant. Appetizer with spinach, fresh mozzarella and roasted tomatoes was good. Though thought the spinach could have been blanched instead of boiled? Gnocchi was good. Not he best I've ever had - but good. My husband had the pork osso bucco which was delicious. more
Friends went there the night before we did and claimed it was one of the best meals they ever had, so my wife and I gave it a try. It was near sunset, so we ate outdoors and it was very comfortable. I had the beef lasagna on the waiters recommendation, and it was probably the best I'd ever had.... more
Overpriced and overrated. Pretentious, no refill offered on the coffee, chicken mediocre at best vegetables were almost raw. The sauce on the lasagna has no spice it was as if it was a can of crused tomatoes blended then heated. When the dinner arrives at the table the waiter will run over and there is a choreographed phrase blurted out... more

They may also own the winebar next... more
We followed the Fodors recommendation and they could not have been more spot on. Everything we ordered was outstanding and the service and recommendations were perfect. We arrived around 5pm which was great - beating the crowds. We woudl highly recommend this restaurant. more
San Diego's best italian hands down!!! more

Michella was running the very cozy bar and asked what we would like. Before I knew it, Michella was letting us taste many... more
