Cool Place and Great Tacos

We had tacos, and they were tasty. I had fajitas style lobster tacos, which were awesome. I got three, which was plenty. They also have a chip and salsa bar. The mango salsa was outstanding. Everything was tasty. They had big beers and a good selection as well. Good place.

We love going to Rockin Baja. Great food, reasonably priced and fun environment. We ate at the Gas Lamp location and they have the outside seating which is fun to watch people and enjoy the SD scenery. Food and drinks always very good. I have never been disappointed. Fun for couples or families!!

We were with a large group, the waitress did an excellent job of taking care of 25 people. The food was good but not outstanding.

Love Rockin Baja! Come here with my family everytime we visit Old Town San Diego. Nice atmosphere, good for anyone...families, singles. I get the "Sea of Cortez" which is Lobster, Crab legs, & Shrimp. They use an awesome seasoning. And very bubbly, nice staff.

This is a nice place to eat at along the beautiful Newport Beach. I happen to walk by it on my way to the water. Not hearing about it previously, I decided to to give it a chance. I was not disappointed. The best thing I ate from there was the Lobster Bites and the Lobster Corn Chowder. The bites... More

Rockin’ Baja Lobster isthe perfect place to go when you have a guest in from out of town or you want to take one of the wonderful staycations we San Diegans enjoy so much! There are a couple of locations in San Diego but my favorite is the one in Old Town. Rick DiRienzo founded Rockin’ Baja Lobster in Oceanside... More

Our cousins took us here one of our nights visiting San Diego. Great atmosphere, awesome chips and dip bar and the food was very good. Got to eat outside under the stars. Really good music playing and a nice bar with multiple TV's showing sports. Had a really good time and the wait staff was excellent!!

Wanted to see old town San Diego but this is the only place we went to as we were pressed for time. The atmosphere at this place is awesome. The food is great but a little expensive. Two of us orderd the beef tacos which were probably some of the best I have ever had, and I live in El... More

Rockin Baja has got a salsa bar to die for. There are numerous varieties, green, red, pico, black bean, spicy, mind, mango. The chips are hot, salty and delicious. My husband had the Ahi Poke and loved it. It was beautifully presented. I had the Mexican corn on the cob, was to die for! The atmosphere is Cantina style, Mexican,... More

Ate from surf and turf selections and enjoyed every bite. You can go wrong with any of the seafood. Shrimp and lobster cooked to perfection with excellent veggie complements. Loved the nacho and salsa bar. Beer selection was smaller, particularly for local beer. Mixed drinks were weak, and at $9-12/glass they need a little more bang for your buck. Stick... More
