Worth the wait - Good value for the money - super yummy!

You know you are just about there when you see the line wrapped around the building. Sunday morning walk on the beach and then off to Kono's to stand in line. It's a long one. People are friendly and most seem to have been here before. Nothing fancy and had to split up, one to stand in line... read more

The restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel front desk so we went. There was a line as described but it wasn't too bad because we were there before 8am. When we were leaving the line was out the door, around the building. They serve huge portion at very affordable prices. My big breakfast was $6.95. I had 2 eggs,... More

Great breakfast spot. A true surfer vibe with friendly staff and huge breakfast platters. The breakfast burritos are huge. Yummy food in a unique setting.

Locals use this place and when you sample one of the range of coffees and breakfasts available, you'll understand why as the quality is great and the prices are extremely reasonable. Located on the boardwalk at Pacific Beach, Kono's is a great place to start your day, watching the world go by!!

My family and I come to Pacific Beach every year and have never tried Kono's simply because the line is always so long. This trip my husband and I waited it out and were very pleased with our breakfast! The line moved quickly and we were able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful morning and our... More

I thought we would have this amazing breakfast, NOT. The line outside is deceiving. Makes you think "oh wow what a great place. The burrito is giant but not tasteful. I always have big faith in trip adviser, this time I was disappointed in this restaurant's rating.

Thus is an old haunt for me that I still crave after 30 years of eating here. The line is worth waiting for. You will not be disappointed. The potatoes and egg plate is perfect for taking out side onto the grassy area just north of crystal pier and watching the surf. This is the true Greasy Spoon. Nothing better!... More

Quick delicious home made breakfast. Line is quick, place your order, grab a seat and food is brought to your table. Love the locale on Mission Beach boardwalk. Love having breakfast with the sun and sea breeze in the air. And great price too! Better than any pricey hotel breakfast that's for sure!
