This place is always PACKED. I was so hungry and was not pleased about a line around the building on a Sunday morning, but the group convinced me to stay! Well worth it! Had a HUGE brekky burrito with sausage green chilies, egg and seasoning. Bit too big or just got bored with it after the 100th bite, but lovely... More

This is a cool little place. Get there early or stand in line for awhile. there is indoor as well as outdoor seating. If the area north of the restaurant is full there is additional eating behind the store in front of the café. Make sure they know you are there so they can find you with your order. Their... More

I was lucky to be the first in line for breakfast at the time that I visited and was greeted with a very warm and friendly smile by the staff. The food was substantial and I was able to sit in the patio area overlooking the ocean. It was a great experience. I plan to make this my breakfast spot... More

This place is very popular, but we enjoyed eating both breakfast and lunch there before the weekend crowd arrived. Very fresh, delicious food. The breakfast burrito is enough for 2.

Quick, inexpensive delicious food on the boardwalk! Long lines but worth it! Huge breakfast burritos, great eggs. Yummy!

I don't give 5* unless Uber and gourmet. A breakfast meal should max out at 3* to me but I loved the style, portions, vibe, smiles, and buzz. I've almost never before queued (stood in line) for breakfast but glad I did. 7 ate and it was quick. Not great coffee, quite weak, but pale special potatoes (pepper cheese), over... More

So, we usually don't visit places that typically have a "line" to get in. On many visits to PB/MB in San Diego, we have passed on Kono's because of the wait to order and restricted seating. This visit, we happened to be riding bikes past Kono's right at opening time, so we decided to see what all the fuss was... More

Can't slam the place for being popular. The line doesn't always move as fast as previous reviewers say. We got there at 10a on a Saturday, and expected to wait. Sure enough, there was a line stretching around the building. Everyone is pretty jovial and friendly in line, and there is plenty of people watching to do while you wait.... More

Stopped in for a quick bite and got the cheeseburger and fries. Reasonable and very good. A definite if you want a quick bite to eat.
