Fun family place with lots of great food.. Onion rings and burgers are the best. Priced just right for what you get..

We ate here twice, the Blue Jay burger was delicious as it came with grilled onions and blue cheese sauce. Plus they give you hot sauce at the table so it's pretty awesome. Word to the wise, if you like healthy food do not eat here - if you're hungover and looking for a greasy snack, by all means indulge.... More

If you are intimidated by the huge line that is constantly coming out the doors of Hodad's. Just grab a takeout bag, they'll fill it to the brim with delicious seasoned fries. Take that out to the Ocean Beach pier or sit on the seawall and watch the hipster/performer scene. It remains me of a smaller Venice Beach. Back to... More

I always try to check out a triple D restaraunt when I travel. This was a good experience. We ordered burgers and frings. The frings came first and our group munched on them while waiting for our burgers. The burgers were big juicy messy delicious goodness. Very tasty! Unfortunately we were too full to try a milkshake. The ones that... More

My family and I live in NYC but visit San Diego once per year and every year we MUST visit Hodad's. I typically don't like to wait on lines but I think the wait is totally worth it. The burgers are always so Fresh and the fries and onion rings are pretty good too. I like the decor of the... More

We waited about 45 minutes for a table but it was worth it! I got a chocolate shake and it was amazing and huge. I also ordered a cheeseburger with fries and my parents both got cheeseburgers with onion rings. The burgers were giant and the helping of fries and rings was more than we could even eat. It was... After seeing Hodad's on Triple D we had to try it and see if it was as good as all the hype. The burgers were great and the shake was not only great but huge. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger and said it was awesome. I had to try the Guidoburger named after Guy from Triple D. Burger with... More

I was a little hesitant about going to a burger place and being a celiac , however, the lettuce wrap burger was very good. I felt like it was a real burger by the way it was wrapped and held together. Sometimes bunless burgers have to be eaten with a knife and fork and have to be put together by... More

One of the best burgers I've ever had! There's always a line, so unless you get there right as they open, be prepared to wait a bit. They do offer take out, so you can grab and go. It is a bit noisy inside, which made ordering a bit challenging. One person in my group ordered chicken strips and received... More

The burgers are average and very greasy....if you like greasy, these are for you....also, there is always a long line anywhere from 45 min to over an hour because this is the "cool" place to get a burger but I don't think they are good enough to wait in a line like that......there are much better places to get a...
