We were visiting San Diego and staying in the Pacific Beach area, had heard about Hodads and it was worth the trip to Ocean Beach. I know you've heard it before but its true the burgers are awesome. I had a loaded cheese burger with onion rings and couldn't finish it. Price's are very reasonable and its a great spot... More

We took a family trip to San Diego and visited a little hole in the wall spot, Hodad's. The food was pricey but well worth it. The portions were huge and the burgers, fries, and onion rings were delicious. The burger was so juicy and very flavorful. I am a little sad that we didn't get to try a milkshake... More

This place is awesome. The beach feel of this restaurant is the best. Located in a great area so you can walk off the burger you're about to consume. The beer is cold, the staff is friendly, and the burgers are great. I had the bacon cheese burger with fries. It was great.

The food is good. It's a hamburger. The shakes are superb! The atmosphere is off the beach casual. The service is rushed as they are ALWAYS busy. I've never been there when there was not a line outside. The prices could be lower if they made their tomatoe and onion slices thinner. The attire of the servers left me feeling... More

Been wanting to visit finally got the opportunity to check it out. Too much food & good food(if you're in the mood for hamburgers & fried foods, oh & a nice cold beer). However the wait time was not fun that's why can't give it a 5.

My best friend and I travel across San Diego County in search of the best burger. After years of trying different places Hodads is still the BEST! AND, now that they have opened a restaurant downtown you can beat the crowds. The onion rings are awesome, too.

I am a local and I have been dying to try this place! It was delicious! We went during the week after 1pm so it wasn't too packed but there was a line. The waiters were awesome super nice and not bad look at! The wait for our food wasn't bad considering the amount of people. When it came out... More

Great burgers and atmosphere. Love this place, but hate the lines that have been a staple since this restaurant has been spotlighted on Food Network. Go to the original OB location for the whole picture. The Market Street location is ok for the food.

So worth standing in line. The "Guido" is the best!!! All three venues have well prepared food. The Petco Park is the easiest access during a ball game.
