I loved it. Reasonable prices and great burgers. I had the pastrami burger that was on the food network and it was good but my wife had the blue cheese burger and it was unbelievable. The only bad thing was the fries weren't that good but I can't wait to go back

The ambiance inside is 'Shabby Beach', the line is long outside, but the burgers, oh the burgers! The onion rings excellent, think of getting a half of rings for two. The milkshake have an additional 3-4 scoops of ice-cream, split with a friend! It's huge. Prices very reasonable for what you get. It's my new hamburger goto place 15 miles... More

I was hesitant at first becaus it looks like a dive but I was so wrong. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very cool. We got an order of Frings (onion rings and fries) and it was more than enough for all of us. That's a great way to save each person a little money because you can... More

This is one of the best burgers in San Diego. If you love burgers you should definitely try this one. They have large burgers with bacon and everything on it. This with some French fries I had to roll out of the restaurant. We had about a 10 minute wait at lunch time. The restaurant is rustic and not glamorous... More

Having lived in San Diego for 40+ years, I have know about Hodad's for many years. Nothing better on a sunny day than to walk along the streets of Ocean Beach, window shop, people watch, see the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and end up at Hodad's for the best cheeseburger in paradise! Trust me - the food is... More

Is either the best or second best. Absolute incredible flavor! Highly recommended! If you are looking for no fancy ingredients, it has to be the best burger place in the County. Worth the wait if there is any when you go there

We arrived a little early to avoid the lines but still had to sit at the bar. I was great. The service was very good. The bacon cheeseburger and chocolate malt were amazing. We will be back for sure.

my friend said lets go to Hodads they have huge hamburgers bigger then your head and delicious milkshakes. The restaurant is pretty rustic and don't expect glamour, it is what it is.

The food here was unbelievable! Our family of 13 went there after a Marine Graduation to celebrate. All of us agreed we had never had such great burgers before! The shakes and malts were huge. All of us ended up splitting the meals because there was so much food! The server was great. Music is very loud but we had... More

WE went to the location in Ocean Beach and it was a great kind of stumble upon hole in the wall place. The atmosphere was really different and fun with license plates on all of the walls from different states and countries. Some of the tables were surfboards or a part of a car that you could sit in. The... More
