We arrived without a reservation in very casual clothing but were treated excellently, we sat at the bar for happy hour with huge range of real ales and cocktails watching the busy trade with a stunning sunset as a backdrop. We dined overlooking the bay with a delightful choice on offer, starters of clam chowder and a lobster bisque was... More

Went there for early dinner. I got a table by the window and the view was great. Had the planked salmon, and it was delicious!! The service was very good. I highly recommend this place.

I love seafood and get excited every time I see Cioppino in the menu. I ordered it looking forward to a great savory meal. Where was the great flavor? No where to be found! I could only detect canned tomatoes, where were the herbs, the anise (stars, fennel, Pernod? anyone would do the trick) the garlic and the seafood taste?... More

We had a large group (25) for dinner and they were great about accommodating us, and even seating us with great view of the harbor! The food was good. Service was great. Drinks were delicious. They even gave separate bills.

First time visiting San diego with 1yr and 4yr old. We went to this restaurant around 3pm friday, so not so crowded. Anyway, the food tastes were good, especially oysters. Half dozen for $19, bit pricy but it was so good that i had to order another. So fresh and tasty. We ordered clam chawder bowl $9- good portion to... More

On a point overlooking the bay, the Harbor House is a great place to watch the ships including navel vessels as well as watch the sunset. Really nice fresh fish and seafood selections. I had the moon fish and was pleased. Prices are reasonable also.

Whenever I stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego, I walk out the back door and across the street to Harbor House Restaurant -- for the seafood and the view. I ordered the lobster shrimp sandwich on toasty bread. But don't plan on picking it up. There was so much seafood that there was no way I... More

Was out with a friend and needed my seafood fix. Stopped for lunch here at the Harbor House Restaurant and had a great lunch! A bit pricey but the view can't be beat

My wife and I ate at Harbor House after a day at the zoo. Great views of the harbor, fun atmosphere, and great food. The seafood pasta was excellent and the beer and wine list was extensive. We almost came back here the second night in town and probably should have! Worth a visit.
