Fantastic view with not so speacial seafood, great clam chowder!

Went there with my wife and stayed in the top floor of the resyaurant. Wines - Great selections. Beers - Great Selections. Staff - Regular. Ambiance - Fantastic straight view to San Diego Bay. Food - This is tricky... We tasted the following: Ceviche - plain taste. It seems as if the ingredients... read more

I thought my food was less than average. My waiter did not mostly provide the service to the table. That resulted in "going dry" most of the meal. I never got any bread although there was a bread plate. My clam chowder was mostly meatless. This place has a nice view and must rely on tourists stopping by. I would... More

We stopped here after taking a Seal Tour. For a touristy area, the food here was pretty good. The She-crab soup and Lobster Bisque were excellent.

As locals we have eaten here before, it was a nice place to take visitors ~ We were seated at the last table in the back of the patio ~ It was NOT busy, the staff could see us but seemed like they had NO interest in serving , so we moved inside in hopes of better service, The manager... More

The service was impeccable, as was the view. The bloody marys were good, but the food itself is a bit overpriced for the quality. My pasta was super expensive but merely mediocre. Still, the view is worth the price. Go for happy hour to save some cash.

When I stay at the Grand Hyatt, I often walk over to Seaport Village for a meal. The Harbor House Restaurant has a lovely view and it is a nice property. When I am tired, I get a take out meal. They do a really good job. I have returned often.

I was hoping for a good experience at this place and was let down a bit. The waiter may have been too old to work there. I'm sorry. Everything I asked him he either didn't listen or didn't care. I like oysters but only if they're small and fresh. I made a point of saying I wanted very small oysters.... More

Looking for a place to eat in San Diego and by chance we passed by the Seaport Village, cruised around and saw the Harbor House with a charming, well-manicured front garden. What attracted us to this iconic restaurant was its location as it has a lovely panoramic view of San Diego Bay. Certainly a beautiful feast for the eyes, and... More

Dining room was loud. Service was slow. Grilled swordfish with lemon caper sauce was good, but not spectacular. It was first presented without the lemon caper sauce, but the sauce was quickly brought out. Fried seafood platter was pretty average. Lots of loud business types and conventioneers

We were made to feel very welcome by our server Kenzie. We were just having drinks and appetizers and she was very attentive and friendly. It was quite warm where we got sat, but she was happy to post open the door for us to get some air. Raw oysters were perfect! Good servers rarely get recognized as way too... More
