My reunion committee met there to check out the appetizers for our upcoming casual reunion. The ones we tried were great typical bar food--potatoes skins, calamari, cheeseburger sliders and fries. All good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is quaint and lots of ambiance sitting right on the runway of Montgomery field. If the price works out for our event, we'll have... More

Generally from the reservation being placed to our seating the service was very good. We had a server who I assume was attempting to be funny but it fell flat. He totally forgot our drinks order, until reminded, forgot a portion of our meal, until reminded and then served the cream corn as if he was in an prison mess.... More

Dinner with friends during Restaurant Week was a great experience! We had an excellent waiter. We had made reservations ahead of time and were seated when we arrived. The whole meal was delicious from the bacon wrapped jumbo sea scallops, the Crab stuffed shrimp entree was amazing. 5 large shrimp with stuffing wrapped in bacon cooked to perfection with a... More

Went during San Diego Restaurant Week. I had the prime rib, wife had the short ribs. Both were well presented and delicious. Service was great, prices reasonable. What more could you ask for. Throw in the view overlooking the airport and you have it all.

Went to the 94th Aero Squadron for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. The place is very unique and has interesting decor. The food and service were great. The brunch included a wide selection of different foods. My only complaint is that the brunch is very busy and the seating is somewhat cramped so you feel rushed to get... More

This is one of my family’s local favorite restaurant. It’s a surf & turf style place with lots of WWII memorabilia and decoration (great photo op!). The atmosphere is classic and rustic, lots of wood and seems like it has lots of history behind it. Service was excellent. Pleasant, polite, helpful waiters. Food was beyond my expectations, especially for the... More

94th is everything you could want for atmosphere. Decorated in a World War I theme with beautiful gardens, especially lovely at night. However, both the food and the service can be hit and miss. Picked this spot for a Birthday lunch, but have been here many times. On this particular occasion there were several reasons for a less than 5... More

This place is awful. Went with a group of people, our tables were card tables. The food...the steak was great, all the rest below average. My garlic mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy. The "garden" salad was a few assorted greens with about one cup of salad dressing. It was like salad dressing soup. And the server, totally inappropriate. Touching... More

Dear Linda, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us concerning your dissatisfaction with your dining experience. I apologize immensely for your experience. I am glad you enjoyed your steak and very disappointed that you were unhappy with the rest of your meal. I assure you, this is not the way we do business. I also want... More

We were taken here by friends while visiting San Diego. Loved all the attention to detail both in and outside. The service and food were very good. Would highly recommend.

I've been here a number of times. Brunch and dinner. Have never ordered anything that disappointed. Not fond of the complimentary creamed corn they serve...but that's not something I like. Friendly attentive (and funny!) wait staff. The décor and view of the airfield is all very interesting.
