We just stepped in for happy hour and my friends had some oysters and I had french fries with truffle. Great place for seafood as my friends told me. As a vegetarian I can't confirm that. But all the waiters were extremely attentive and friendly.

The Happy Hour menu is awesome! Filet mignon sliders, ceviche, calamari, $1 oysters and great Prosecco! Nice selection of wine/beers and cocktails. Plenty of room in the bar area and good service. Visit the website for Happy Hour times. You will not be disappointed!

I am not a tough reviewer of higher end restaurants, but Oceanaire was pretty poor. All of the items were incredibly over-flavored. The fish was overdone, the vegetables undercooked or bathed in too much sauce/seasoning. Would have been acceptable if paying $25 for an entree, but not when entrees are $40 excluding sides (which run another $10).

Ate here for lunch. Had half crab and shrimp cocktail. Was more presentation than actual quantity of food and the quality was average. Not overly impressed for the price.

This was one of the best meals we have ever had. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was pleasant. We had the crab cakes, calamari( on our concierage), dirty swordfish and baked alaska. We ate so much,we had to take a pedicab back to the hotel. Best seafood.

We dined here 7/2/14 for our 25th wedding anniversary. This is one of our "go to" places for special occasions. The food, service and ambience are what makes it so special. You feel as if you're on an oceanliner (think Titanic) with the dark woodwork and art deco fixtures with a blue wall of light above/behind the wall in the... More

We loved The Oceanaire so much, we went back TWICE during our trip to San Diego! The food was wonderful and we went back twice for the appetizer during their Happy Hour. It was so good that we didn't enjoy any of our other meals as much. That was why we went back again during our short trip.

Made reservation directly with the restaurant. Unable to make reservation through Open Table because more than 10 people. They made a special menu for the happy couple and the baked Alaska was awesome! Great service. Cost more than I expected but it was a special occasion. Very happy with the dinner and the outcome.

We had a large group of people. They were always there when we needed anything. They have the best seafood, the beat appetizers, and the most delicious desserts.
