We got there for dinner around 6pm on a Thursday and only had to wait about 15 minutes. Servers very friendly and helpful with the choices on the menu. Service was quick. Not to fond of their margaritas or sangria. Sangria was tasty but over 20$ for a pitcher was not worth it, very weak drink. Fruit juice is cheaper.... More

I knew we'd have a lot of options for Mexican food in San Diego, and this one came recommended in our AAA travel guide so we went for it. We were not disappointed. The service was great, the atmosphere was fun and energetic. The one downfall? I ordered the Tres Amigos margarita and it was by far the strongest margarita... More

Casa Guadalajara offers classic Mexican Restaurant ambiance and mediocre food. The place is on the edge of Old Town and fits in with a classic flair of old Mexico, but I really expected so much more from the food. The chips and salsa was half a hit... the chips great-the salsa bland... and the meal that followed fell into that... More

We enjoyed our food which was tasty, served quickly and piping hot! My marajita was huge and good. Great chips and salsa. I suggest the shredded beef taco which was a treat from the regular ground beef. We both also had a rellano and enchilada and would order that again. We went early so there was plenty of free parking... More

I'm not even a huge fan of Mexican food except for the fresh Mexican grills and this place was wonderful! We had the mango chicken quesodilla with a yummy dipping sauce. It was delicious and was so big I couldn't finish it. The atmosphere is so fun with all the bright colors and the live musicians on weekends.

My wife and I had lunch here while visiting Old Town. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I had one of the best margaritas I've ever tasted. (I lived in Texas for a number of years, so I know my margaritas.) My wife and I had the bean and shredded beef tostada which I highly recommend. The service and atmosphere are... More

We stopped in here for a late lunch while shopping in the Old Town area. The spicy chicken salad was delicious and so much that I couldn't eat it all. I took the leftovers and ate it later, even though it was a bit soggy, but still tasty! The margarita was good, too, and I lingered to make sure I... More

Mexican food is one of my favorites. In San Diego Mexican food is everywhere so I was a little confused where to get a good meal. Between Yelp reviews and Trip Advisor we decided to come here. It was a nice clean place inside. It was also dinnertime so this place was a zoo. We were given fresh tortilla chips... More

We ate here in 2009 and have been wanting to come back ever since. First thing after getting seated was drinks and homemade chips and salsa which were so good, especially the salsa. We had drinks within 4 minutes of being seated. We were a bit disappointed with our main course this time, but I think that it was mainly... More
