We ate dinner here with our two children. They were very accomodating for the children! There was a Mariachi Band playing throughout the restaurant. Happy Hour is from 4-7pm during the week and $3.95 margaritas are yummy! The service was EXCELLENT!!! Our meal was so good...homemade tortillas and delicious salsa were a plus! Highly recommend this restaurant for wonderful food... More

This restaurant is an institution in Old Town. They made their own tortillas and chips too. My Latino friends take me there every time I am in San Diego. Large restaurant but some times you have to wait for a table. They have a band that plays also.

This is one of the top Mexican restaurants that I have been to! The service, the ambiance, the food and the drinks were top notch all the way. This place brings the full experience to your table. Great place to take the family for a night or a great place if you are visiting Old Town. The menu is fantastic... More

Casa Guadalajara is in "old town". I highly recommend going to old town for authentic Mexican food. The service here was excellent and the food was very good. We had a party of 10 and the restaurant is big enough we were seated immediately.

We have eaten at this restaurant for years. Great drinks, great food. Even better happy hour. On all counts, the best restaurant in Old Town, although technically, it is not part of Old Town State Park. Get the perfect margaritas. Our favorites. Ask for Leo (Rosalio) when you order drinks! Plenty of dishes for the vegan in the group. Try... More

This is the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. Believe me, we are from NM and we eat a LOT of Mexican food. The two sauces we had were absolutely yummy. We found ourselves arguing over the last bite. Great Cabo Wabo specialty margarita, house margarita was just okay. This will be one of first stops when we return... More

We visited for the Mustangs By the Bay car show Meet & Greet. Living so close to the Mexican Border in New Mexico, the decor was pretty standard. We went to the bar first to have a drink before the buffet...the Mexican Bulldogs were perfect and huge. The bartender/waiter certainly know what he was doing. The patio buffet was very... More

I think Mexican Restaurants have become sloppy or uncaring in the quality of the food they serve. I have actually stopped going for Mexican because of so many badly prepared meals. Chain Mexican restaurants are especially guilty of this. An exception is Casa Guadalajara, where I and a friend had a wonderful lunch in a crowded, noisy but lovely setting.... More

This restaurant is in the old part of town, across from a shopping center selling Mexican products. We had to wait 45 minutes to get a table since we hadn't made a reservation. The menu selection is huge and is bound to please anyone who likes Mexican food. Come hungry, as the servings are huge, or decide to share a... More

Wonderful Mexican food! You could watch them making the hand made tortillas. All of the food was great. Our waiter was very friendly and personable.
