Casa Guadalajara Good Food, Good Drinks

We arrive in San Diego about 5pm on a Friday evening and checked in to our hotel and decide to go to Casa Guadalajara for Dinner as all of the reviews we had read were very positive. We took the hotel shuttle so we did not have to worry about driving or parking, which was a great idea since we... read more

Went here for lunch with my 2 older sons while in San Diego for a 3 day short vacation. The atmosphere was great! Made me feel like I was in Mexico. The staff was very friendly, service was very good. We started out having Margaritas and I have the say they were out of this world. The food was delicious... More

Loved it. Busy vibrant atmosphere. Great margaritas. Had tilapia which was very good and came with perfectly cooked rice and black beans were done very well. 2 kinds of salsa and chips on table complimentary and very good. Would return. Very reasonable pricing.

We came here just after we arrived in San Diego for vacation. It's close to both Old Town and Hotel Circle. The food and beer were good and it appears they have a great happy hour.

Enjoyed some appetizers and drinks on our first day in San Diego - place was busy but service was on point. Food was tasty and it was a decent price, but nothing extraordinary. Margaritas were tasty!

A good friend of mine came to San Diego for a convention and old soldiers reunion. He asked me specifically to take him and a buddy to a good Mexican restaurant. This place filled the bill to perfection. Great service, great food, great ambiance.

Great food, live music (some days), pleasant atmosphere. Waiters are friendly. Beware too much of the enjoyable alcoholic drink

When planning my return visit to San Diego a trip to Casa Guadalajara was a must for me. Excellent Mexican food, homemade tortillas, delicious margaritas and great service all out on their beautiful patio area. My friends and I literally went back there straight from the airport (no joke that is how much I love this place). Now that I... More

Came with group of 20. They were very accommodative and efficient with service. Very nice waiter. Great salsa and guacamole. Food was good Mexican. Really liked their tamales. Sat outside in beautiful patio. It was a wonderful evening. We took transit train from seaside village and got off at old town, walked 1 block and was right there. Easy to... More
