We arrived to a waiting crowd. The wait was to be about 45 minutes so we took our pager and went to some nearby shops to look around. After we went back and waited a bit longer we decided to go wait in the bar. We ordered Margaritas and were served chips and salsa. The drinks were awesome. We had... More

We (3 peoples) just finished our meal and it was delicious. The service was good and prompt. We ordered chicken avocado soft tacos, chicken enchiladas, tamales, chili relano and house margaritas. The portions were large and had left over. The musicians were fun and good. Highly recommended.

We don't miss a chance to have lunch or dinner at this great place. The atmosphere, music and service is great. The food is delicious and served in super big portions enough to share! The staff is always friendly and ready to serve!

We had to wait for 45 minutes to get a table, it was so busy! We sat at a bench near the area where they made tortillas. They smelled divine! We also got to watch the trays of drinks and beverages go by! Talk about large portions, margaritas included! We were lucky to be seated on the patio. It was... More

What a great place. Soup, fish taco, super fresh guacamole, grear drinks. And Mariachis' performance was a perfect addition to this culinary masterpiece.

After walking around Old Town we decided to go here, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from but th is was our choice, our waitress was excellent and the food was perfect, the atmosphere was great, we had a choice to eat inside or out we chose in because it was warm outside, on our next visit to Old... The food was good - not outstanding. The service was good - not outstanding. Looked forward to the Margarita, but since when aren't Margaritas served in wide-brimmed Margarita glasses anymore??? Ordering a Margarita with "salt and rocks" and having it served in a Tom Collins shaped glass just doesn't cut it for authenticity.

This was our best meal in San Diego. Great atmosphere, fun vibe and OH great food. Try the bacon wrapped shrimp....Margaritas are made the way you want them with many choices. Its not exactly located in Old Town but right on the out-skirts of it off Taylor street. Highly Recommended!

Visited on April, 2012. This was within walking distance of my hotel and I LOVE Mexican food, so naturally, I had to try it out. I just walked in off the street and even though the place was packed, I was seated right away. The service was top-notch. I was attended to almost as soon as I sat down and... More

Read a few prior reviews but since located in high tourist area was worried. We had our Siberian Husky pup with us ( 4 months old) so figured no way can enter. Asked one of the girls if we could use a table in corner of patio in case other customers objected and to our surprise she said yes! ,... More
