The food was ok to good at McCormick and Schmick's but the service we had at the San Diego location was terrible. We never received rolls even after we asked for them twice. Other tables near us received rolls. We had empty drink glasses for long periods of time. When we were paying the bill the waiter told us he... More

For a special occasion you can reserve a booth, eat a delicious seafood dinner, have caring but not overbearing service, and take away you own printed menu that recognized the celebration. The only downside is the location in the busy gaslamp area; however, the hotel does offer reduced valet parking for restaurant patrons. So there really aren't any negatives to... More

Reliable standby for seafood and steaks - excellent service, good quality food. Temporarily open for breakfast, as well as the usual lunch and dinner (until Omni coffee shop construction is complete).

We'd been given a gift card so tried McCormick and Schmidts. This was the first visit in San Diego although we've dined in both Seattle and Portland. The food was reliably good. Crab cakes were very tasty - so much so that I'm looking for a recipe that would match their spicy remoulde sauce. The beet and goat cheese salad... More

Food is not very exciting, waiter was kind of annoyed we did spend and order more food. What came from the kitchen was mediocre at best and kind of expensive.

My crab and spinach omelette was very good. I love the fresh crab in San Diego. My husband liked his avocado and bacon omelette too. That was today's special. Nice thin slice of sourdough toast. Hash browns are shredded - crisp outside and soft inside. Excellent service by our waiter Bobby. The fresh biscuit he brought us was amazingly good.... More

We ate two meals at McCormick and Schmick's. Breakfast was good. Dinner was subpar. Expensive for what we received. Okay in a pinch.
