From start to finish this place was lovely, the setting was perfect, right on the corner of the gas lamp so you are not in the heart of the bustling area but not too quiet either. The food was lovely, tasty and good portions not too big and not too small either. The price was in direct proportion to the... More

I got a grilled chicken sandwich with fries...$18 and they added a 20% tip for separate checks! The sandwich was mediocre and the fries were cold. Will not return!

Enjoyed a meal with my husband here. He's been many times on business although this was my first visit. Not impressed with our shrimp cocktail that was outrageously expensive BUT appreciated the service & bone in filet for dinner. The location is fantastic however parking & valet can be quite the cluster.

My wife is not a big eater, so she usually orders a small filet mignon, medium rare. Well at Lou and Mickey's she got,a perfectly cooked, scrumdidyumcious , wonderful , over the top cut of beef! I had an open faced sirloin sandwich.. Wow to die for. So tender and moist. The ambiance, the service, the food.. One of those... More

I wouldn't expect a restaurant right in the heart of San Diego to be cheap, however, by the time we were done I was shocked. Too add more pain, 4 out of 5 of us were somewhere between sick and uncomfortable that night. The waiters were very attentive and professional.

I visited for a conference and we had dinner and drinks here one evening. The food and drink were good, not great, but the location, service, atmosphere, and location made it worth the visit.

I wanted a nice steak while I was in San Diego on business and stopped into this restaurant that is conveniently located on a corner. Although there was a wait for tables, there was a spot available at the bar. The staff was friendly and made me feel at home. The bar is beautiful and is made of zinc, but... More

Casual steakhouse with pleasant service. We ordered hamburgers this time. The medium rare burger with aged cheddar was perfect. The medium burger was a bit dry and overdone with blue cheese that wasn't melted. The Caesar Salad was good, but lacked anchovy garlic flavor. Server brought a few anchovies to top off the salad. The wine list is excellent, offers... More

We had tremendous steaks and wonderful desserts. Service was great. Although the restaurant was nearly empty,we were seated very closely with a group of businessmen who had no qualms discussing very non-dinner conversation type topics. This was not the restaurant's mistake, but there was no need to seat us in such close quarters with another party. Other than that, we... More
