Great steak and oysters but a little pricey.

Went here for dinner while on a business trip. The oysters were delicious and the steak was very well cooked. Had good service and all the food tasted very good. My only complaint was that it is a little pricey for my taste.

Ate here in July 2015 with my girlfriend. Service was top notch - Ben our waiter treated us to some magic which was brilliant. Food was good - probably ok for the price as it was expensive but we didnt mind as the service was the best in the USA - and I have written a few reviews! Portions not... More

This restaurant gives you lots of choices. If you like the bustle of the street (and train watching) then sit outside. If you want a more old school steak house experience, sit inside. The food is good and prices are steep. If you expect otherwise, you will be disappointed. This is not a place for a $50 date night. That... More

My cousin decided on L&M's (1 of her favorite Gaslamp restaurant's) to celebrate my hubby's 56 b-day. Turned out to be the PERFECT CHOICE! 👌🏼 Ambiance: Friendly & relaxing! Service: Our service was flawless! Top notch! Personable server that was on top of everything!! Did not miss a beat! Cuisine: My prime rib was phenomenal as it was cooked on... More

Went there after a Padre's game but did have a reservation. There were five of us and we were seated quickly. However it was all downhill after that. Service was slow and then two of the entrees never arrived. The appetizers were OK, not great. Unfortunately I never got my dinner so I can't comment on it. It was a... More

Great food. The atmosphere was upbeat and lively. We were sat street side at sunset and the views were great. Our waitress was awesome.

Ok, so we are from TX. Possibly we have a higher standard for meat. This was distinctively marginal, however. The grilled asparagus with balsamic glaze was quite good, but they could have shaved or snapped off the stringy ends. My dirty martini was stirred, and barely dirty. The Navy grog was sort of like a Virgin Islands "painkiller" but not... More

Food was good while not tremendous. Specifically, the crab cakes were a bit dry; however, the asparagus was tremendous. The atmosphere was an interesting dichotomy. The outdoor patio area suggested a casual setting, while the inside was finished in a much more formal setting.

Last night is San Diego and was looking for oysters. Lou & Mickey's delivered. With a nice menu selection and great presentation, the shredded raw horseradish was great. Included the Halibut entree rounding out a very enjoyable dinner. Sat at the bar, great service, quick and professional. Recommend and would visit again.
