We came here for dinner after leaving a Meetup group mixer across the street at another restaurant that either could not or just would not seat us, even though there were empty tables in the dining room that we could see from the bar. We walked in, and though they were scheduled to close in about a half hour, the... More

I went there with some friends in a recent trip to San Diego. I expected something worse, as I've been in Spain many times and it is difficult to find real Spanish cooking. Even if it is not 100% really typical, modern tapas were quite good (albacore mouse pate, baby eels...) However, they are not specialized in Paellas, so it's... More

We enjoyed the happy hour prices on their tapas! Everything was delicious and interesting choices! We were there on a Thursday night, so it was not busy! But weekends, you might want to call ahead! Best tapas we have had outside of Spain! Wish we lived closer, we wold definitely be regulars!

I was taken here for the first time 9 year ago by some friends who lived in San Diego, it was a great end to a wonderful day. I have since been back to this place many times. This is truly a wonderful Spanish tapas place, and any Spanish place would not be worth to go if the Paella isn't... More

We have been eating here for years. Is is always wonderful. GREAT little Tapas and the owner/dining room overseer really knows his wines. His wife is the cook and we just got to meet his son who was in the front the last time we went. THeir happy hour is a steal and really great food also.

Really good, not wonderful. We were looking for a dinner of appetizers, so what better place to go than a Tapas bar, right? I'm THAT customer: gluten-free and curious, and felt like the server (who was also the owner) was slightly put-off by my questions. He worked hard to upsell everything ("If everyone is having a glass of sangria you'll... More

We enjoyed the simple atmosphere, which reminded us of tapas bars we've visited in Madrid and Barcelona. The food was far better than we were expecting - lots of flavors and variety. Octopus and mussels were really extraordinary. Happy hour $5 wine and sangria surprisingly good. Great service. Only negative is it's a bit pricy.

We were staying in Hillcrest and walk to this restaurant that had great reviews. We were not disappointed. The sangria was a little sweat but the food was great. The recommend 2 plates per person but that was 1 plate too many for us as we aren't big eaters. We left very full and satisfied. Would definitely go back again.
