Went to this restaurant with a party of 14. Food was very good, but they are not very candid about their pricing policies. Their website does not mention it has a fixed price of $45 per person, or $35 for the salad bar. My son and his wife are vegetarians (don't even eat seafood) and they agreed on this restaurant... We decided to try this Brazilian style steak house. The entire experience was noteworthy, from the time we entered to the waiter explaining how the service works. There is a large buffet for side dishes that includes salmon, shrimp, crab legs, a variety of cold and sauteed vegetables and much more. You could easily make a meal with this alone.... More

I have never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse before and to be honest I have never heard of one before. While I was staying in the Gaslamp area during my time in San Diego I came across Rei Do Gado by accident and I thought I would check this place out. I was fortunate to be visiting during restaurant week... More

It was my first time going there and I have to say that I love the atmosphere of the place and the employees were very friendly. Our server was very attentive and checked on our table often. As for the food, it was really good, all in all a great experience

Wonderful Brazilian barbecue place in downtown SD. Fabulous salad buffet and pick what you want from a selection of meats from the barbie served to you fresh off the skewer. Great wine list

As I was planning our trip to San Diego, this is one of the restaurants that made the short list. As we were walking the Gaslamp on our first night in town, we passed this restaurant and commented on how nice it looked, not realizing this was the same place we had planned to visit later in the week. Our... More

i admit it now. I ate too much. Very easy to do in this all you can steak house. It was soooo good though. I had a sampling of about 10 different varieties of meat. This included two types of lamb, several varieties of pork, and many cuts of beaf. It was all tasty and also included an over the... More

Arriving at this Brazilian steakhouse is best to come on an empty stomach, as the spread and food is never ending. The salad and appetizer bar is full of many goodies such as jumbo shrimp, crab legs, an excellent guacamole, multitudes of salads, delicious tiny rolls stuffed with brie which you must try, white and green asparagus, collard greens, hearts... Wow, you better be hungry when you come here. The meat just keeps coming until you say uncle. The flavors were delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. Service was wonderful, every time I turned around there was someone trying to serve more.

The experience is unexplainable. Ensure you go there with lots of space in your stomach,, say a light and early breakfast... the spread is lavish, service excellent and the food extremely delicious Eat slow and steady and wash it down with some best wines out there....
