Point Loma Seafoods is a bit unusual. You walk in the front and find many different kinds of fish, shell fish, etc. You can order the food to take home and prepare, or they have a menu of fresh fish you can choose from. We had the scallop sandwich, fresh crab and fish and chips. It was all good and... More

Fresh seafood at this casual restaurant, adjacent to the boat docks. Sandwiches were $8.80, but came with no fries or salad. Plates were $12 and were large, with plenty of food. Service was friendly and fast.

We arrived a little too early to take advantage of the whole menu (a half hour before soups and chowders were available). So we chose a tuna-on-sourdough sandwich. Great sandwich and great coffee.

This is an excellent lunch spot when visiting San Diego. I have never been to an open air seafood restaurant that was so fresh and clean...absolutely no 'fishy' smell. This is not a fancy place; but the food is incredible. I had the fried shrimp and it was crazy good. I recommend sitting outside on the upstairs patio.

This is a nice extremely casual place to come after exploring and hiking in Point Loma. You order from the counter and then call your number. Casual outdoor seating and indoors. Best seats are upstairs. Fresh seafood and sushi.

Went here in December with my girlfriend. It was some of the freshest seafood I've ever had in my life. Period. The reviews are legit....just go and eat. I can't even tell you how good this place is. If you go and you don't like it, just stop eating out because you have some sort of disorder. If I am... More

I've read some of the other reviews of Point Loma Seafood, and even reviewed it myself before, and I continue to say "what's not to like?". If you are expecting a gourmet seafood meal in an upscale environment, this is not your place. But if you would like a delicious, fresh, casual meal - perfect for lunch - with a... More

If you like fresh seafood including smoked fish, this is a great place. Perfect place to buy seafood to take home to cook or eat if smoked or marinated, also good place to eat there as they make it to consume there outside or inside, very basic not fancy but quality and very friendly staff too plus good local beers!

The first time here I was a little overwhelmed. The options are nearly endless. The cases full of fresh seafood are beautiful and whether you are staying for lunch or picking up something to cook at home you will have some difficult decisions. Parking was a bit of a challenge but PLS has an attendant to help with that (thank... More
