Had two lunches here while on a business trip in the area, approximately a week apart. This is a walk up and order at the counter sort of place, then you wait to pick up your food when called. It appears to be a popular seafood market with the locals, and all of the fresh seafood offerings in the case... More

My daughter and I shared a yummy oyster cocktail. The sushi was above average but nothing to rave about. The crab cakes were very meaty and tasty. Parking is a challenge but they try.

I can only rate the eat-in service. My family stopped by for an affordable seafood dinner to try to avoid high restaurant costs. Unfortunately they only offer fried seafood options and everything was overly greasy. I think ordering their fresh seafood and cooking at home is a better option and more their niche. I wouldn't recommend their dinner service at... More

There's nothing like a sunny afternoon sitting on the upper deck of Point Loma Seafood, enjoying a meal with a view of the marina and downtown. As a market for fresh seafood purchase, the presentation alone will make you want to stock your freezer. But if you're a visitor, like me, choose anything on ice and it will be prepared... More

We went to point Loma because we were craving seafood and this place was near our resort. The place was busy but the staff was quick to take our order. The food was great and the fish was fresh.

My wife, children (6 and 3) and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Cabrillo National Monument. Didn't realize it at the time, but the restaurant doubles as a seafood market. You basically walk up, order off the menu, they give you a number, and you wait for your food. At the same time, you could also order... More

This restaurant is located in Point Loma right on the marina. It has a good following for fresh seafood takeout and is always busy serving meals. I love looking at the seafood offerings in the cold cases but I've never been jazzed about their preparation. This was confirmed again when I read a restaurant review in the Union Tribune and... Our first visit to Point Loma Seafoods was a complete surprise as we were expecting a "white tablecloth" experience. But how pleasantly surprised we were to find that it is actually a fresh fish market which incidentally also has a great kitchen. It is quintessential San Diego casual where your food is served on paper plates, you choose your own... More

We specifically made this trip just to eat - twice - here. Everything is fine - including the beer and wine selection. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the fairly new patio with magnificent view of the harbor.

I stopped in on a whim while on a trip - other have told me I must visit this place. I had the shrimp plate with French fries and cole slaw. It was delicious. I was there about 1:30 and the parking was still pretty full. This place is definitely a popular lunch stop.
