Very cool place. Fast service. Order at counter then pick up your food and find a seat. Can sit outside or inside with awesome bay view. Excellent food. Decent price.

Very fast service. Beautiful, relaxing spot. Fish seemed all fresh but VERY pricey for just sandwiches, solo items!

Smoked & fried food. Need to figure out that you can't seal up fried food for those who are staying = soggy fried food. "Sushi guy" is rude & sushi is average anyway. They close at 8:00 & will lock you out and ignore you if you need something else or re-fills for your small cups. NE Clam Chowder consisted... More

The sushi was wonderful. There were so many great looking items on the menu, My husband and I shared the sushi plate and I had the fish soup and my husband had the fish sandwich..YUMMM. You can eat in or take out, including big cuts of fresh Ahi Tuna, Salmon and anything else you want to grill or serve sashimi. We... More

Our party of 5 had a late lunch here after a whale-watching tour. Everyone was starved. Staff was friendly but food was disappointing. We are all fans of coleslaw...well, at Point Loma...it was very bland. Everyone picked over their food (which our bill was $96) and everyone was hungry again before we made it back to LA. I'd definitely suggest... More

I live in San Diego, so I get to eat here at least once a month. The seafood is fresh, as in caught today, and so delicious. It is pricey. My wife and I share a fish sandwich and a fried clam plate with a couple of soft drinks. It's $26, but worth every single cent. They have lobsters "swimming"... More

The sushi was wonderful. We bought some fish jerky, which was okay for fish jerky. There were so many great looking items on the menu, I wished we could've stayed longer in San Diego. I probably would have tried some fried fish, lobster, and then more sushi! Great, clean restaurant with a beautiful view of boats and the bay.

What I didn't like first - ordering is a little confusing as it is a seafood market/restaurant and the counter is set up like a market. I had to ask another customer what the procedure was to order a meal. The other thing I didn't like - they don't fill orders as they are taken. Quite a few people who... More

We liked the outdoor patio but be advised that they close at 7pm, which seems a bit odd for all of the business they do, I'd think they'd at least stay open to 8pm. My kids loved the chicken tenders (yeah, I know, it's a seafood place...), my daughter had crabcakes, she said they were okay. Husband really liked the... More

Point Loma Seafoods is a take out or eat on their patio eatery. It is not a sit-down restaurant. The best menu item is the squid sandwich. The sourdough bread is soft and flavorful and the sauce is very flavorful. Although it is definitely not a healthy lunch choice, as there are no veggies on the sandwich and the squid... More
