Fresh fish in San Diego

It doesn't get any fresher! A walk up and order counter then take outside in the fresh air. We were able to see the marina and people going in and out while we ate. Great craft beer selection. I will definitely go back next time in Point Loma.

Never again! Worst most expensive fish restaurant in San Diego. $72 for 4 people and we left hungry. My lobster roll had 1/4 cup of lobster on a huge roll. Had to eat the lobster off the bread or I'd never taste it. My husbands Ono had 2 fish stick sized pieces if fish he had to add seasoning to.... More

We get to PLSF every time we go to San Diego--it's fabulous fish, a mix of local and faraway choices. I always get the crab Louie salad at least once and can heartily recommend the fish tacos and the white chowder. They have good local draft beer--I am partial to Point Loma Sculpin--get the 32oz size--and their unnamed wine selections... More

Another restaurant that was recommended by our friends. The set-up of the place is like a seafood/deli.. So we ordered our food, shrimp & fish baskets. The food good, but something we could have picked up at Long John Silvers or Pirates. Guess we were comparing the place with San Pedro. Our food was not necessarily the catch of the... More

Much larger place than we thought it would be. It is a Fish Market and seafood restaurant with counter service only. I ordered the Ono (Pink Snapper) special it was grilled and slightly over cooked. My wife ordered a combo plate and it was ok at best. Perhaps we caught them on an off day or really busy I’m not... More

Point Loma Seafoods has a wide array of seafoods available for purchase, as well as, to eat on site. With a friendly and helpful staff, this is a must go to spot if you're visiting or living in San Diego and love seafood.

We ordered takeaway for the crab cakes, calamari, fish & chips, and California rows for dinner. Disappointed! Bland, fried taste. Same can be said for the fries and salad. The crab cakes taste frozen. Cannot taste any sweet crab meat. Seems to have override as the crispy layer is overly brown. The calamari is chewy without any taste. Plain fried.... More

It is a nice seafood market and you can order at the counter and take your food to a table indoors or out overlooking the marina. It is the most beautiful seafood market display I've seen. We bought a bottle of Kendal Jackson for 14.95 and sat overlooking the marina. It is located across the street from the Ramada Airport.

Before heading to airport we stopped here ... my daughter ordered the shrimp plate and I ordered the crab cake plate. They were okay. I think the crab cakes were too bready. The coleslaw was absolutely flavorless, sorry to say, the fries, well they were fries. The view of the harbor is outstanding, and the place is great for buying... More

Freshest fish...right off the boat .This is where the fishing boats call home. This is where they sell their best catch.Fabulous place to buy fish to take home,or eat there on the dock, watching the boats and sea lions.
