Great food

Second time visiting and just as good as first. Very busy place and may have to wait a bit to park and even get your food but worth it. Portions are large and may be a bit overpriced. Staff is friendly

This is a difficult review to write. There are good things about Point Loma Seafoods - the location is really nice with a view over the harbor & I like the idea of being able to buy fresh seafood and lunch there. However, though I will go occasionally to bring a friend from out of town...I find the price points... More

This place was great 40 years ago, however, it is quite mediocre now with extremly high prices. My son had fish and chips which had good mouth feel but was tasteless. My crab/shrimp salad was lots of lettuce, very little crab and shrimp served in a plastic container. My other dining companion had a very over breaded and deep fried... More

Excellent lobster roll. Good service. But if you are looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. You order at the counter and they call your number for pick up.

Located directly on the harbor, this glorified cafeteria-fast food eatery is outrageously over-priced offering non-existent parking and take-out order/service disguised as a restaurant. When you enter this rather expansive lobby/counter area, like at your grocery store's meat counter, you wait in line to place your order. While standing, you read some of the posted fish prices and become almost weak-kneed!... More

Fantastic fresh fish: especially the sashimi grade. Can get a little pricey, but the quality of seafood earns this price. Great to eat in, take out, or buy fish for a meal you are making yourself.

Family had a great meal this week. It was a late lunch and everything was delicious! The crab was super. My first time tasting local dungeness crab. Living and sailing on the Chesapeake most of my life I'm used to blue crab. This is where we will go for all our seafood. Bob's fish sandwich was the best. Donna said... More

Not a homey atmosphere - crowded line of patrons, unhelpful staff, industrial food at over the top prices. We spent $77 for a meal for three: two drinks, a small serving of bad calamari, two "side salads" that came in plastic bins, an Alaskan cod sandwich that actually was tasty and worst of all, a lobster roll that was just... We always go here every time we visit San Diego and it is always consistently great. I ordered the small appetite fish and chips and it was 2 pieces of cod and fries. Perfect size for me. My husband ordered the fish and chips plate which was about double the price of mine, but he only got one more piece... More
