Great Selection of Beer. Food Good Too

Stayed in Marriott opposite, so came here to eat. Very busy and was lucky to get a table. In door and outside seating with pleasant scenery views with the lake and Koi carp. As the name says, they have a wide range of local beers to cater all tastes and alcohol percentage levels. One was a strong... read more

This place is in an up-scale, tech-heavy, office park that gives you no clue as to what a beautiful environment the restaurant has created. It is in a park-like setting with beautiful trees and plantings with koi ponds and subtle lighting. The building is open on 3 sides and sits hundreds of people. The beer selections were fantastic and the... More

Great food (as long as you aren't looking for a lot of light and healthy fare). I went with a group of 13 on a work trip and everyone had several options on the menu that they were interested in and everyone liked what they got. Burgers and sandwiches were a big hit; the wings, spicy steak and pretzel appetizers... More

My wife and I ate here while on a business trip to the area. We stopped by at happy hour and were amazed at the quality of the craft beers and also the food. Our server was great. He made a number of suggestions once he had a feel for our tastes and every sugestion was spot on. We visited... More

I was with another person. I had a flight of beers, loving all of them. We split a Pei Pei Chicken which was lousy and dry. The bartender instantly jumped on it and order buffalo wings to replace them free of charge. We didn't have the heart to tell him that these tasted better, but were still very dry. Loved... More

We had a four beer sampler, two pints and three delicious and very ample appetizers for a total of under $30, taxes included. Sure, if you order after 6 pm and get entrees it will cost you considerably more, but if the full meals are as good as our boneless piripiri wings, lime chili sweet potato fries and hummus with... The name might suggest that this beergarden has something in common with a German Biergarten. But it doesn't. It is an American restaurant with a Japanese garden. It has good craft beer, but again not really German style beers. The food is good American food. Overall I liked it very much. But it is not the kind of place you... More

This is a very nicely tucked away place in the heart of the technology hub in San Diego. While they are known for their beer, the food was excellent as well. The surroundings are excellent and the service good.
