Good food awful service...

It' s the third time I visit with my family, we love their food. Unfortunately waitress are rude and treat people differently. Of you dare to not ask for a beverage that'll be the end. I do not think that is what the owner wishes from the staff, he must remember how the business began.

The pizza was so good I didn't know what to do with myself. I mean it is SO GOOD. The pasta is pretty good--it's standard Italian pastas (please don't get the spaghetti, it's very basic spaghetti and you will be doing yourself a disservice by not getting PIZZA)!! Portions are very big. Prices are great! Get a carafe of their... More

Visiting from out of town and had been here once before over 40 years ago. The wait staff is personable and very attentive. The pizza was great. Parking is a premium in Little Italy, however, Filippi's has a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. We were on motorcycles and felt secure in leaving our bikes in their lot.

Filippi's has been around since the 1950's and you still get that homely family dinner feel when dining there. There sure is a traditional feel to the place, smells great and always has the buzz of conversation going on. I've paid this place 4 or 5 visits and enjoyed it each time - and have not eaten the same thing.... More

Fettuccini Alfredo was awful. Fettuccini noodles were undercooked and some were actually crunchy. Ordered a white pizza with broccoli. Broccoli was undercooked as well. Pizza crust is really thick and was terribly doughy (like an undercooked Pillsbury canned roll). Terribly overpriced ($50 including a beer and water). Restaurant is a chain and had lost sight of food quality in my... More

Filippi's is the best Italian restaurant we've ever eaten at. Certainly not fancy, but a great experience start to finish. Filippi's is located in an old (1950) Italian deli, food store. We walked in and back to the restaurant and we were in a different world. Red checkered table cloths, basket Chianti bottles, old, authentic. The food was terrific, we... More

For 60 years now, this market turned restaurant has been keeping locals and tourists happy w/ home-style Italian cooking and an amazing selection of goods. There will be a line to get in, oh yes, there will be a line. It moves quick, and there's plenty to see and talk about while you're standing there. Once inside, you're assaulted with... More

Wanted good Italian, so where do you go little Italy of course. Walking down the street checking out menus. I did not want expensive. My husband saw the menu but all we saw was a deli, he said the menu says in the back so we figure, what the hell and walk in. The smell was like home. The seated... More

The place is bigger than it looks and it tastier than you would think! The food was excellent and was served quickly. The meatballs are homemade and huge! Linguine and clams were excellent as was the lasagne and pizza. The service was quick and spot on. We enjoyed it very much!

Unless you are really wanting to spend a whole evening there, take-out is the way to try their pizza. We were tired after a day of hiking so called in our order. They have a special parking space for pick ups so you don't have to worry about parking. We were amazed at the line that went out the door... More
