My brother recommended that if wanted Italian that this was the place to eat in Litle Italy. You walk up and it first is a market but as you walk in ( if you can get in , the line is usually out the door) you walk to the back and its a Italian restaurant. The food and staff was... More

Immediately after I commented to my husband that I have decided I prefer dining places without cloth tablecloths and napkins, we stumbled upon this place. The smell drew us in. At first confused, thinking it was an Italian Market, we discovered the restaurant in the back. We must have arrived at the right time, as we only waited 5 minutes.... More

Went here with friends. The line was a little long, but not out the door. We had two pizzas (pepperoni & sausage, and pepperoni & mushroom), lasagna, ravioli, chicken parm sandwich, spaghetti with clam sauce. There were 8 of us. Everything was very tasty. Would go back there again.

The place is small and crowded. You wait in line for a while. The pizza was good and the server was pretty fast.

We always meet our San Diego family here before we travel, love the food, fun but crowded atmosphere.

It may be a tad expensive and with a waiting time but it's worth it. The service is quite friendly (it can get a little too friendly if you're easily offended with jokes). And it has a little store in case you want to take some rare Italian ingredients.

We were here over the 4th and went for dinner. We stood in the line that went outside the building that winded through their grocery store to the Restaurant. We stood in line for 30 minutes but it was well worth the wait. We had the pizza (best pizza I've ever eaten) Lasagna, salad and wine. Huge portions for reasonable... More

Don't let the store in front of the restaurant scare you away. The line was out the door when we went. Also, do not let the long line scare you, the restaurant is bigger than you think and the line moves pretty quickly. Plus the Italian market store is fun to browse while you wait. Nicely sized portions, more than... More

The food here was mediocre at best. Pizza sauce...bland....cheese....bland....garlic...overbearing. The spaghetti was decent....way better than the pizza. Service was pretty good...our waitress was very attentive and gave us ordering advice (which is why it even got two stars). You go through a dumpy grocery area to get to the restaurant. The seating is dark and a little dingy. With all... More

Don't pass this one up! This quaint restaurant behind the Italian grocery offers up amazing pizza and authentic pasta. The meals were very tasty and were a great value, The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the local hotels. The waitstaff was quite friendly and attentive.
