Amazing Pizza!

I recently stayed in Little Italy at the Urban Boutique on a business trip. I was by myself the first night, so on the recommendation of the front desk, I ordered a carry-out pizza from Filippi's. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, the line was out the door! Their pizza's are somewhere between... read more

One of the neatest pizza restaurants I've been to! It's in the Little Italy area of San Diego, and in walking distance of great shops and views! In my opinion the entrance was part of the cool things about this place, it's a shop! All sorts of Italian products and goodies, and once you get to the restaurant it's a... More

You will think your back in the North end of Boston looking for Anthony. This is what I consider the typical 1950’s Italian ecliptic setting with the front of the building providing the locals with basic food needs, all you old time Italian oils, sauces and Pasta, then down the long hallway to the dining rooms filled with aromas to die... This restaurant has a long history with San Diego and if you're visiting from out of town and want a great italian mean at a mainstay restaurant then head on to Little Italy area near downtown San Diego. I eat here about once a month and have a favorite server named Irene. She's friendly, talkative and so sweet, an older... More

This place doesn't look like much from the front. You walk in through the deli and down a little hall to get to the dining area. Once you're inside, the smells are amazing!!! We were seated right away and the service was quick. The food was so good! I wish I could have ate more, but the servings were so... More

There was four of us for dinner not a one could eat all the food. I had chicken Parmesan and everything with it, I'd certainly get it again.

We waited about 30-40 minutes for a table for 5...you enter thru the deli part of store...it was very interesting as I found two of the salami brands in the small sticks that I cannot easily buy back east in the deli case as I was waiting...Columbus and Molinari...more about that later... We were under a deadline to return out... More
