This place is very different. I'm a sarcastic guy I don't have a problem with sarcasm at all. This place stretches it to the limit. I think it is worth a shot it is an eclectic type of place. Give a shot you might like it you might not

It was really funny and inappropriate, and the food was good too. When you go to Dick's you know that it's meant to be funny and sarcastic.

We had lunch at Dick's Last Resort because it was a beautiful day and we wanted to dine al fresco. We were greeted and seated, shown the lunch specials, and ordered quickly. Our waiter was funny and attentive, and helped us make good choices. The lunch cheeseburger special and the fried shrimp were great! The big drinks came with glasses... More

Great prices, great food! Their courtyards always full with Sun so that is nice when you like to eat outdoors in the afternoon. Not very romantic though. Perfect to bring your kids. You got to be able to handle jokes and some fun stuff if it is a bachelor's or birthday going on. Sarcasm is part of their service. (However... More

When you look into Dick's Last Revenge bar you could be forgiven for thinking it's a scruffy place, rubbish all over the floor, a bit off-putting. This however is part of the decor. We were taken there after a Padres baseball game and were a bit apprehensive when we went in. Once we sat at our table though, it all... More

Ok, they can keep it PG but Dicks last resort is known to be a little raunchy...thats what makes it so fun. The staff is awesome...best trick though, do not look at the paper hat they giver you until you leave...makes the entertaining value a little higher...the food is good...typical grill.

I was staying at the Hilton and walked over one night. Seemed sketchy from the outside. Got great service from my server and laughed out loud a few times at the antics of the others. The food wasn't bad, I only had an appetizer, salad and beer. Saw some good looking fish and all you can eat crab. Would go... More

Bad bar food, good for drinks and some laughs. BBQ was bland, fried shrimp might have been previously frozen. Waiters entertaining, nice to sit outside in the wonderful San Diego evening.Located right on 5th steet in the gaslamp district.

We tried the promotion all you can eat crab legs for 23.99 on Tuesday night. It's not worth the money at all. They gave you a plate with 2 skimpy crab legs, 2 hush puppies, 1 bucket of fries and a small dish of cole slaw. Each time you reordered the crab leg, they gave you a small portion of... More
