We went to this restaurant because we had been given a gift certificate. After entering the place, which is in a strip mall, we told our waiter that we had a gift certifiacte, and he assured us that we could use it, no problem. I love this restaurant. Bernard, the owner is attentive to all his clients, and the maitre'd treats you as if you are a special customer. The food is great and moderately priced. Beautiful presentation of the food. The location of the restaurant is random, but wait until until you have the food and experience this great little gem! more

You'd never know if from the location in a strip mall, but this is a classy restaurant. Very good French food, with friendly and professional staff. We had our 1st anniversary dinner here and the owner (Bernard) treated us like royalty. more

BernardO is a great gourmet restaurant in Rancho Bernardo, a community in north San Diego. They serve California/French cuisine in a beautiful restaurant tucked away in a little strip mall. We go there for special occasions, for Thanksgiving, and sometimes just when we want a really good meal. Their menu changes every few months. Some of my favorite meals there... more
