Last time I went the service was slow. But this is the best place that I know of for Cajun food in San Diego. Mmmm...gator tail. I think they recently had a grand re-opening. Not sure what that means. more

Thursday nights Tomcat Courtney plays and sings the blues, similar to West Texas blues. If you missed Lightning Hopkins or Tbone Walker, go Thursdays to hear this 78 year old blues icon. We've eaten here several times on Thursdays, most recently February, 2007. The Jambalaya is excellent, as is the Louisina fried shrimp. The decor and ambience is well done... more
I read about Chateau Orleans in a guidebook that highly recommended it, and our experience did not disappoint. A little on the pricey side (up to $23 an entree, which included many seafood selections and combinations) but worth it, as the food was delicious and authentic.
