Was going to Old Spaghetti Factory but the wait was 2 hours so we walked up the street to this place. Ordered the 3 sampler main entree, took over an hour and I was able to eat the entire 3 sampler in 3 bites. The paper bag of burnt bread was ok. more

Acqua Al 2 has some great classic Italian dishes to choose from. Last time we went, I tried the Blueberry Sauce Filet, which is apparently their signature dish. It was out of this world! My husband and I visited Florence a couple of years ago, and Acqua al 2 was the best dinning experience in Italy. We went to San Diegos's restaurant last week, and the food was as great as in Florence. Service was not bad...Italians do it better...but food was great and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try... more

Very disappointing. We had the 5 pasta appetizer dishes and they were 5 different types of pasta - prepared the same way! You could do better making your own with Trader Joe’s ingredients and save the $23. I ordered a New York steak medium and they send it rare. Save your money or try Osteria Panevino up the street. more

Dined on a Thursday on the advice of great reviews and "best gas light restaurant" winner. Nothing special. Found the service to be quite slow and unattentive. Just didn't click for us. Visited the Al Acqua 2 on March 30 2008.We both had the 3 sampler main entree.The filet mignon with the blueberry sauce was terrific as was the filet mignon with the balsamic reduction.The third choicewas good as well.We then had the tiramasu whicjh was excellent.
