Romantic spot for a cocktail

Sat on the patio with my friend for a cocktail after visiting the zoo, and enjoyed the tranquil garden setting. Go here for brunch before a visit to the zoo! *** Make reservations through OpenTable.

We visited Prado on our first day in San Diego; it was late afternoon and we were a bit peckish. As luck would have it, we visited during Happy Hour, and enjoyed outstanding local beers and a delicious flatbread. We decided to visit the next evening, after the theatre at The Old Globe, but Prado was closed then...:(. Would have... More

Gorgeous indoor and outdoor dining. Great American food. Or sit in the bar room or the bar room patio and share one of their fabulous flat breads!

Great place to eat right in the middle of Balboa Park. Fun bar in front for those cocktails and a fun restaurant in the back. If the weather is nice, try the outside patio. They bring a cheese crisp and bread to your table after you sit down. Well worth it!

If you're a native of San Diego, you don't need to eat here, but I do recommend the views. If you're new to San Diego, the Prado has a fantastic "fountain" view but just know that you're paying for the ambiance and not for a great culinary experince. I give the food 2 stars so in general I can't recommend... More

We are here in between museums. We had a 20 minute wait for our table so I'm glad I checked early enough to eat when we wanted. Menu is interesting and varied - loved the Virgin Margarita. The children's portions are huge. One of our party was recommended a soup of the day that wasn't on the menu, but it... More

Very fancy restaurant in the beautiful area of Balboa Park. But the most important thing in a restaurant it´s probably the food. And I didn´t know it was possible to make such a bad risotto. I thought it was a joke. The others having dinner with me were also not that happy with their food. The dessert was ok. The... More
