The view of Balboa Park sets the table for a romantic setting. The smoked salmon flatbread was filling and delicious. The complementary humus and crackers were excellent.

My husband and I went to 2 museums at Balboa Park, then needed a place to have lunch. I had an Asian-chicken salad which was excellent. I ordered the smaller salad which was perfect. My husband ordered the organic turkey burger. He really liked it. It was huge and tasty. It came with French Fries and a lot of them... More

My mom and I spent the morning walking around Balboa Park and then had lunch at Prado. They ad a nice variety of unique salads - I had a beet salad. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

While visiting San Diego for the first time, my wife and I made a Sunday evening reservation at The Prado before seeing a show at the Old Globe. Our waiter, Scott, was fantastic -- and the atmosphere and food were stellar!

The best! We loved everything about our dinner. We sat outside in the garden overlooking the same place we were married 30 years earlier. The food was wonderful!

My husband thought his hamburger was overpriced and mediocre. He thought the bread in the bun was hard as a rock. Also he was not happy with the service and it was 2:30 in the afternoon when we had lunch so the patio was not full. I really enjoyed my market salad with all the good vegetables including beets, corn,... More

After the visit of the lovely Museums in the beautiful Balboa Park, it was a good surprise to have an al fresco lunch on the terrace. Without a reservation, we did not have to wait long for a nice table.Absolutely perfect service. Delicious salads, specially the one with the shrimps. Don't miss the fresh fruit juices. Recommended.

We have lived in San Diego over 25yrs and The Prado is one of our very favorite places to eat. Whenever we are visiting Balboa Park we will try to work in a meal here. The service, food, and decor are just wonderful.
