Irish Hospitality in San Diego!

Beautiful, cozy pub. There was a wide assortment of beers on tap and cider as well for gluten-free drinkers. The pub's setting is Irish and there is a lot of beers to chose from. Although the staff are friendly, there is not much 'authentic' about this pub.

The food, drinks, and staff were all very Irish, and it was amazing. I had a fantastic Irish coffee to start with before ordering the Irish Sampler. The price was a bit high, although that may just be my non-California background showing itself. The taste was fantastic. The staff was pretty great too. Not invasively attentive, but very friendly. Simple, fun and good. This place has a great feel about it. It's a pub, nothing fancy. We enjoyed our dinner and the simple style of the Irish pub

Thanks for your review and feed back. I was happy to read that you enjoyed the pub and your food. Everything was shipped directly from Ireland and that's what gives the pub it's truly Irish feel. Hopefully you will get a chance to return soon. Thanks More

Was here on a Sunday evening for food and drink and was underwhelmed but the service and atmosphere. Kind of felt left out. The food was good, the service was ok, just didn't get that awesome atmosphere feeling that others had in their reviews. Maybe it was just a slow Sunday....

The fish and chips were good, the Guinness was on point, the entertainment was good. It was loud with the dancers, which was fine with me, the rest of my party did not appreciate it though. But I think, not every being in Ireland or a "real" pub, it was what I expected.

The Field is a pub that I would not miss on a trip to San Diego. The food was excellent, the boxty was the best I had eaten since visiting Dublin. The atmosphere along with the beer and whiskey selection is great, it is definitely an authentic Irish pub. If you are in the San Diego area do yourself a... More

I did venture in to Field because I need some grub. Bar seating was limited and I did not want to sit at a table as the only ones available were in a bit of a void between the door and the bar (no tv's just a dead space). I don't remember the barkeeps name, but he was very friendly... More
