Very authentic Pho

A friend of mine brought me here for pho. I've been coming back every since. Decor, eh... carpet could be upgraded but as for customer service and food...it's top notch, always excellent. I've never had a bad experience since my first visit over 2 years ago. It's always packed with customers.

wow! i love this place. went there twice during my week in san diego. my favorite is the chicken egg rolls. you should ask for extra vegetables on the side. they don't come with pickled carrots or radish. so much better with them. the garlic butter chicken wings are also a must try. the pho is pretty good, probably not... Garlic Chicken Wings will out-taste the majority of American bar scene places for sure. The moist chicken inside a crispy, bone-in wing....umm. I'm out of words. Flavor, zesty kick and boom. Or is it bam? I appreciated the way the floor was run here. Management appeared hands on, varying generational staff was doing any and all tasks, service was organized... More

Yummy. One of the oldest family run Vietnamese restaurants in San Diego. We shared an order of calamari salad, thai style shrimp soup that came with shrimp rice cakes and a plate of stirfried vegetables with tofu. It was more than enough food For the two of us and we had some left over for the next day.

Had the seven course beef dinner for two which was 23 for both of us total. So good. Meat cooked different was where u make spring rolls out of them. Delicious. His place is known for that and their egg rolls. It's busy with both Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese people. The pho is ok but if you want pho, this isn't... More

We love Vietnamese food and their Pho is better than any we had in Hanoi. Their spring rools and Vietnamese pancakes are also excellent. We haven't tried too many other things because these are so good that we keep ordering them. We just got back to San Diego and will be going there tonight.

A friend who lived in San Diego for a few years recommended for us to eat here while in the SD area. He told us that there was a big Vietnamese community in the area a Vietnamese food was a must-have. I must say that compared to what we have had in New Jersey and New York, this definitely was... Wander off the beaten path for some great Vietnamese food, especially if you are looking for a menu that goes beyond the usual Pho. I started with first rate Salty Fried Shrimp (shells on) as an appetizer followed by Sugarcane Shrimp and Grilled Pork - both dishes to be wrapped (by the diner) in rice paper with vegetables. The Salty... More

This place was busy, usually packed. However, their service was quite good and fast. We did not wait long. We ordered Hot-Pot Seafood & Meat, a mistake. It's plain, not tasted. Crispy Chicken Egg Roll was a standard. Shrimp Spring Rolls were, however, a disappointment: not much shrimp you can appreciate and the dipping peanut sauce was plain.
